Our school give us a crazy amount of school supplies that you need to purchase the kids before the first day. Ugh... like 10 glue sticks, 3 boxes of 24 color crayons... crazy. Anyone else have a supply list that seems a little overboard?
No kidding...in IA, it was like a list of 24 things, but in multiples...3 boxes of 24 count crayons (labelled), 6 paper pocket folders (each a different color), 24 pencils (sharpened), scissors, glue sticks, zip locs, etc. Here, in OH, it wasn't really bad...pencils, binder, plastic pocket folder, tissue box. Also, registration fees are much less here. I have all three in school this year, so it helps when the fees are less. Bummer, they do the school pics during registration, so I have to pay for registration, pics, and yearbooks all at one go...so much for spreading it out over the first couple of months.
