Today we are pleating and ruching ribbon! For this challenge, please do not use ribbon that comes already pleated. We want to start with FLAT RIBBON and do the pleating/ruching ourselves!
There are several different ways to do this. In my three examples, I use Scor-Tape to hold my ribbon down, and in the newest sample linked below I tie Baker's Twine on top of that to help it stay in place.
Here is a link to the SCS Resources section with a tutorial on pleating using staples.
And the definition of "ruche" - a strip of pleated lace, net, muslin, or other material for trimming orfinishing
My sample:FOREVER
Also see the attached thumbnails for examples already in my gallery.
Great challenge Judy, off to play! Here's my card Judy. Thanks for another great challenge.

Judy- thanks for the great challenge! I combined my wide pink gingham ribbon with some black and white ribbon for my pleated accent, and added a passport admittance stamp and the Tower of Pisa. Finished with some stitching, edging, and green gems. Here's European Travel
