Go on Buck! Sick 'em Shot! Hal needs your help, it sure means a lot!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! This is my story!
1. In addition to the teapot, the second Tuesday Tea Party inspiration will be a song. Take in the performance, listen to the lyrics and get a feel for the things that bring joy to our destination...I've included both a hunting and a fishing themed song below my little poem and story.
2. A man of the woods has quite simple tastes
He has for provision what others might waste
Just some meat and potatoes is all that it takes
Some fresh fish for grillin' or venison steaks
Some of the best eatin' is fish - freshly caught
Just salt and some pepper, that taste can't be bought
Hal is the guy that simply don't mind
Spending all day in the cold hunting blind
Hour by hour he'll patiently wait
For a glimpse of his quarry - he won't use a bait
From dark early morning til setting of sun
Hal watches and listens to find the right one
A man and his hounds in the hush of the wood
Sees God's great creation and knows it is good.
The train in the distance says this day is done
Hal gathers his gear and his pups and heads home.

I'm glad that he has that, his own special place.
3. Hal Hunter is in a bit of a slump. All summer long he has fished his favorite holes, bummed a ride on his buddies boat and tried every bait and lure in the book to no avail. Oh fish would swim all around him, even jump out of the water a few feet away. Hal felt as though they were laughing at him each time they breached the water's surface. Hal's creel has been empty all season.
4. Hal's other favorite way to spend the day is hunting. Hal likes to spend his autumn days in the hunting blind. With his losing streak, Hal isn't looking forward to wasting his precious time off with nothing to show for it. His coonhounds, Buck and Shot are Hal's faithful companions, and like to get out in the woods themselves. Smarter than the average bear, Buck and Shot hit the internet for some inspiration.

They hopped on Youtube and found some videos to change Hal's mindset, to keep him focused. Here is what they came up with to help Hal bag the buck and fill the creel:

CHALLENGE TRANSLATION: Bring cards with deer, bring cards with fish, bring bulging creels or whatever you wish. Bring images of trains or faith filled inspiration cards. Just don't bring broken arrows, tangled fishing line or fleas or it's the back door for you!
EPEC ~ (EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA COOKIES!) Make a hunting or fishing scene with dogs...coonhounds are the breeds of choice for Heath, but any dog will do!
DESTINATION STATION:

redi2stamp (Maryanne). Heath was injured in an accident while working on railroad equipment on a military base in Missouri. He sustained very serious injuries.
