When I took a class at a LSS, the owner mentioned that Kokuyo tape that was sold in the US was bought by either 3M or some other US company. Maybe, you could try comparing the shape of a refill cartridge with another company's refill cartridge.

That's a good idea. I've actually started doing that. I think the problem with the original is that they are no longer being manufactured. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I appreciate it.
The dot adhesive by tombo..the craft collection in a pink and green package is the same adhesive. When I researched this when Kokuyo first was discontinued the company recommended tombo dots..I love it and I swear it's the exact same but different packaging.
Scrapbookpal is pretty cheap for this...but i think michaels sells it

Thanks, Lisa! Do you know if it fits in the Kokuyo tape runner? If not, I have 2 Tombows. Thanks again!
There is still a seller in the U.S. I've been ordering online from her for a couple of years. Her name is Michelle Rubino and her company is called Artsy Adventures. You can e-mail her at [email protected]. She buys both the Kokuyo dispensers and refills directly from Japan, so the writing is in Japanese, but that doesn't bother me. She has wonderful customer service. She sells the dot rollers as well as the dot liners. I fiind her prices are extremely reasonable. (I tried to give you her website address, but I was not allowed as I haven't posted 3 forum posts yet... sorry!)

Actually, Kokuyo no longer manufactures the original Dot 'n' Roller, nor the refills. I contacted the person that Scraphappy52 recommended, but she sells the newer style dispensers and refills. I'm not looking to buy another dispenser. I just wanted to get refills for the original dispenser. I guess that after I finish my last 2 rolls, I'll just toss it into the recycle bin. Thanks for all the suggestions, ladies. I appreciate the help.
It's my understanding that Kokuyo no longer manufactures the original refills (blue and white cartridge). I got that straight from Kokuyo. I've since moved on to the Tombow dot adhesive. The refills fit my Tombow runner. I use my ATG most of all, though.
