TLC377 ~ Dry Debossing (05/14/2012)
Hello everyone!
I am filling in for Holly this week as she's super duper busy with some projects. I can't begin to tell you how excited I was that she asked little old me to step in! Thanks Holly!!
We are going to re-visit an older technique called Dry Debossing.
You can find a tutorial
here on SCS and my fabulous friend Denise aka Peanutbee has made a sample
here .
I used a tutorial by Dawn Griffith that you can find
here for
my card .

Die Cut Diva
Neat technique! I don't have a Sizzix or Cuttlebug yet (c'mon, tax refund!) so I tried this using some designer paper from Elsie that was already embossed with stars. I flipped it to the reverse side and brayered in red. Not quite the contrast I'd hoped, I may have to experiment with lighter brayer pressure. But I used it to make a cute birthday card!

Thanks for looking!
