I only need one anniversary card and one birthday card for May. Can't forget my daughter's get well card. I am so glad it's a slow month for special occasions. That means more cards for the Christmas Cards challenge or any other cards I need in my stash. Hope to get them done before my trip.
OMG....April hasn't ended yet and I'm here with my first May card! Wonders will never cease!!! We have a baby girl about to arrive in our extended family, so this card will be for her
The May 1st challenge is for a baby card. I don't need a baby card but I do need a thank you card so thought I could use my horse and foal stamp and still have it qualify as it is an equine baby! Here it is:

I never thought of using my stamp with the colt. Good idea. By the way, I ordered the Santa Horses last week and they arrived 4 days later. Fast service. You really need to quit enabling me I'm trying not to buy more stamps.

So sorry for enabling you!!! SCS is a great place for doing that, isn't it? I'm trying not to buy any more stamps too, but I'm not being very successful!

I just had to have that stamp so I can make a bunch of cards for my daughter to send out. She and her girls love horses.
Last weekend I made: this birthday card for my dear friend;
Four birthday cards for my volunteers and two thank you cards. (No photo - they look similar to ones I've posted before.)
I still need to make a nice birthday card for my DIL, two Mother's Day cards and 10 birthday cards for club.

4 more to go for May, and 2 are mother's day cards.....wonder if I could get away with making the same card???
Probably, if the mother's are not going to see one another :-) Maybe do the same LO but personalize the color.

Here's a get well card I literally threw together tonight. It's for my DD who is having her surgery on Thursday. This should have been in the mail already but life is getting in the way. I want her to have the card before I get there next Tuesday. Of course, it has nothing to do with the challenge, but it's one less card I need to make this month. I have an anniversary card I have to make before Monday and one birthday card for the end of the month. I better make my DD a Mother's Day card. I have lots to do before next week and I'm working a whole lot of extra hours this week.
Hi Kelly, I am spending National Scrapbooking day...sleeping! I am working nights this weekend, need I say more?
Here is my baby card for this week's challenge. I have made 8 of these so far and am in the process of making at least 12 more. Rocky's Thanks by yellowrose46 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I spent National Scrapbook Day at church (meeting) and with my Mom. We went to garage sales and then I fixed dinner for her and DH. A great day! I didn't even know it was scrapbook day! LOL However I did get some great things to do with scrapbooking at the garage sales
Here is first card for May. Mothers Day Card. I had posted it in the main thread last night.
Some of you have already looked at it as you left nice comments. Thank you Ina and Debbie and Sue!
I spent all my spare time yesterday and today making scrapbook pages for NSD. I haven't scrapped in years! It felt so good to get some pages done. I made this boy birthday card for a couple of challenges. Not my best work but, it was quick and easy to make.
I got very lazy and dug two pretty cards out of my stash, added a "Happy Mother's Day" tag and called it good. I came up with an idea for the 10 cards to swap at club. Just hope I have enough supplies! I'm trying to use up my stash. I used lots of scrapbook paper and supplies that I've had for five to seven years.

Your card gave me a couple ideas for DD's stash of thank you cards. A good way to use up all of that paper I've been hoarding, too. Actually, I kind of forgot I had some of the papers I found.
Made an Asian themed birthday card for my DS and a Mother's Day card for
May. I love this challenge - it's really helping to keep me up to date with my cards. Knock on wood!
Two more thank yous I did today. I should just do an OSW for these. But this way, I'm finding papers I forgot I had. I'm not too crazy about either one of them. Hope DD likes them.

It has everything to do with the challenge, Debbie. It was a card you needed to make. Glad everything turned out well for your daughter's surgery. Be safe on your travels and give her lots of SU love from your friends here.

Great card. Nice and fun for a boy. Have you uploaded SB pages to your gallery?

Both are lovely, Debbie. So thoughtful of you to make these for her. Enjoy your visit with your daughter and her family. Spoil them rotten :-D

I've gotten you guys all caught up. I'm hoping to get a few cards done tonight. Hubby is headed to the lake and probably won't be home until after midnight. I have a business meeting in about an hour (3 hours long and more like a party than a meeting hehe) Then we'll see where my energy level is.

Hi from Nebraska. Today's the first day I was able to get online. I'm enjoying my girls a lot. Today is a walk-a-thon at the school and I'm going to walk with my DGD. DD is doing great. You wouldn't know she had surgery just a week ago. She's pretty tired out by the end of the day and a little sore. I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep her down. The youngest DGD has the sweetest smile with a lot of mischief in her eyes. She's on the go all the time until she falls asleep. The apartment complex DD moved to a ocuple weeks ago has lots of room for the kids to play safely. Lots of trees for shade and a pool that will be filled after school gets out. Would you believe I haven't stepped foot inside Michael's or Hobby Lobby yet. Maybe later today and maybe not at all. We'll see.
Here is my DH' birthday card for May 14th! We'll Always Have Paris" I just barely made it! The VSN International Flair Challenge finally motivated me! LOL
I can't think of any other special cards I have to make for May!
