Default Safe to store any rubber cling in DVD case?

I am starting to accumulate a lot of non-SU clings and I don't want to go to the looseleaf storage format. I want to store all my rubber cling stamps in DVD cases.

My question: is this okay for the stamps? I mostly have Hero Arts and Inkadinkadoo at the moment, but have my eye on some other brands. Will storing these non SU clings hurt the cling side of the stamp? I know the cases are made of a different kind of plastic than the acetate the stanps come shipped on. Maybe I should put acetate lining sheets in the cases. Or something.

Thanks
RR

I have stored mine in the SU dvd cases and they seem to be fine. I also store my clear stamps in them too

They are better to store them in the DVD cases. Than those CD cases.

Totally different types of plastic is used in both.

Along time ago I stored mine in CD cases. and after awhile the Cling foam would leave a film on the CD case. And the stamp weren't sticking like they use to.

I now store all my unmounted Rubber stamps and Clear Cling stamps in those DVD cases.

I can get more stamps inside them as well.

Hero Arts and Inkadinkado, specifically, should be fine in any type of case. If yours are like the ones I have, they actually have a film on the cling side, rather than the foam itself directly sticking to the block or case. (Similar to the sticker on the SU cling stamps, if you were to use it.)

For stamps from other companies, I would ask if you are talking about the DVD-sized cases from SU, or DVD cases from elsewhere?

I have some DVD cases that are the same material as CD cases. The cling foam from my unmounted stamps has etched into these, but for me, it doesn't seem to have affected their clingy-ness. But I am slowly working on moving them into SU cases, just to be on the safe side, and using the DVD cases for just my clear stamps.
