Cat - Lubbock is 1.5 hours from Canyon! Not too far that I can't get to him if I need to and close enough for him to come home on the occassional weekend he is not busy!
I'm glad it is so close, easy to get home and then when he is doing clinicals in 3rd and 4th year of medical school he can move home and do all his clinicals here and save some money! Texas Tech has tons of medical students working at each of the hospitals here in Amarillo. and......I help take care of getting them set up here at the VA when they come! so I'm pretty excited!
