I've heard that blue is coming back for home decoration so we may see a medium tone of blue that isn't as dark as Island Indigo or as light as Pool Party.
I sure hope we get a medium blue that's a true blue - I like the more recent blues that SU introduced to their regular line (Marina Mist and Pacific Point) but both these lean to the green side a bit. I really wish SU had not retired both Brocade blue and Ballet Blue - at least keep one of them.

I'm trying to think of colors that would go with the in-colors that will remain, since they tend to mix and match them in some of the patterned papers...maybe a new neutral or a yellow, since we haven't had one for the last two in color rounds? I don't know how they are always able to come up with new ones, but I usually like what they have
It sad, buy when SU retired the bold brights, they retired A LOT of school colors! I wish they'd bring back the bold brights!
I have 7 granddaughters who love purples and pinks, so anything in those colors would get my vote! Also, 6 grandsons, so ANY blue or green would be more than welcome!
I'd also like to see Going Gray back in their colors!
i really miss "brilliant blue"- it was a nice, true basic blue. i was really surprised they retired so many of the "bold brights". i miss a lot of them!

LOL
Until I see them in real life I'm not saying anything...it's too hard to tell from small snippets on a computer monitor. And I don't think we are supposed to announce them yet anyway:-) I will be next day airing my order on May 1 which will hopefully include the colors so I can play with them on May 2 and post to my blog:-)
I thought of something else I would like. I wish SU would come out with a soft, light-colored peach. Not as yellow as Apricot Appeal, not as pink as Blush Blossom, and not as bright as Groovy Guava and Peach Parfait. Just peach!
I know this isn't that popular of a color right now, but I'd sure use it. There's a beautiful card on page 54 of the latest Cardmaker magazine, and it says the cardstock is by Bazzill. I may need to find me some.

Ah man! I didn't know they retired Brilliant Blue. I LOVE that bold true blue!
Thanks so much for sharing that link--I really like the Christmas paper--it's cute without being so crazy that it would overwhelm the stamped images you'd put with it.
If those are DP packs that are going to be in the new catalog then I'm going to be in TROUBLE. Between those and that Summer Smooches paper I've already seen on blogs I like everything.
That gumball green looks a lot like a new cardstock Gina K. came out with recently. It must be a popular green right now.

Remember that our DSP now includes SHADES of current colors...so we may just be seeing a shade of something we already have. They are making it really hard to tell....:-)
Just putting it out there! I know a lot of people don't realize that! I'm so excited to officially find out soon and get them in real life!
I'm excited to see them too, but man, am I sorry to see this year's colors go! I really liked all five of them, better than the ones that were released last summer.

Ugh, I'm going to CRY on May 31. I hate to loose poppy parade which I really JUST got to using a LOT this past year. I also hate to lose the other ones except for concord crush...I don't dislike it but just don't use it...I tend to not use dark purple in stamping....but I have a lot in my wardrobe????
I really wish they would replace some colors with the in colors we are losing!!! I only use pear instead of celery now. I LOVE peach parfait and would gladly give up a pink for blushing bride!!!!
And I really love the newer colors too so I don't want to think what a mess I'll be when I have to give them up, especially calypso coral next year!!!!:(
I am with you Minders. I use Pear Pizzazz instead of Celery and Blushing Bride instead of Pretty in Pink. I find Celery and PIP flat in comparison to Pear and BB. In fact I don't have any Celery and PIP!! Just hope I have enough "in reserve" to last.
As for concord crush - I love it - I have a lot of Purple in my wardrobe and I use a fair bit of it in card making. Going to serioiusly miss all three.
Hopefully the incoming in colours will have something to take their place.
Concord Crush is the one I can't let go of - I love that color! And I definitely prefer Pear over Celery. I'm not a demo so I buy from other companies, and I've found good replacements for Peach Parfait and Blushing Bride, so I'll be set there. The other three I just had to stock up on.

Technically you have until may 31 but in past years they have sold out fast. My advice is to get what you want now. When they sell out they sell out. I predict it will be well before May 31.
