Scrappin' Challenge 2012

Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.

*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

SCS 52 Week Thursday Goal Challenge!

Ok, April goal is 30 because I am attending an ALL weekend crop toward the end of April! So, I should have no problem making that goal! YAY!

I'm going to go for 4 again this month. Should make it with VSBN challenges and hopefully get caught up on the 4 I am behind on as well. I've got lots of good ideas for pages so far this weekend...now to just find the time to complete them. I've been going through my digi files. It's amazing to "find" things I've forgotten I had!

thanks for the reminder... I just found out a spot opened up for me on a weekend retreat at the end of the month, so perhaps my "or more" part of the goal will come true. I'm thinking I'd like to work on an album or two at the retreat.

Is 10 yrs too long to finish up an Alaska album?????

I'm headed to a Weekend Crop mid-April so I should have lots more pages done this month too. Also going on Sping Break so should have time during vacation

I'm going to make my goal for April 25 pages. I've had a really great March, and I think I will be able to fit in some time in April as well. May/June is going to be nutty, so hoping to keep up the momentum I have so far this year!

Wow! Lots of weekend crops this month! I made my March goal! WOO HOOOOO!!! I'm going to aim for 7 in April. I'll need to finish up the VSBN challenges and my Got Sketch class sketches. If I don't get moving on those, I won't get the free sketches for productivity. Gotta love FREE! Put me down for 7.

Ok I missed my goal last month by 2 so I will goal for 25 this month. I need to catch up!
I have a 3 day scrapping get away this month so I should be ok!

I am late to join this forum. My goal is 100 pages done by the end of June, then 70-80 cards done by the end of the year- so 16 pages a month. So far so good- I have 70 pages done but spring is much busier. So my April goal is 10.
Love the idea about the Christmas card challenge to start early and get them done!

I'm going to have a fun week out of state with a craft friend after the holiday. I have a hunch it will be more shopping than crafting. She has 8 stamp/scrap stores in her area! So I may lose a week of crafting in April.

Wow! Good luck. I did the Christmas card challenge one year and it was fun to have them all done before Christmas for once.

Here is my first 2 for April thanks to the VSBN going on right now. No embellishments really since I had so many pictures I wanted to put on the pages but it ended up being a dps and another one for the Disney album done! TFL!

I didn't get many good pictures of this ride and thanks to a prior VSBN where we learned how to go on the internet and download images, I got some really nice ones to use for the pages. Thanks I think to Mary Pat or Michelle for that lesson! I use it a lot now!

Do I even want to make a goal for April?? I did not get one done for March. I have 1 done for April but don't know how many more I will do. What the heck, I will go for 5 this month, that means I have four left!!!

Well, I didn't make my goal of 20 for March! What was I thinking? I did get 13 done.
And I have a head start on April. So, I will say 10 for April still 100 for the year. And I have done 22 so far for the year.

March was a total bust for me. I really don't know what happened.

But, April looks to have great promise. I also have a crop coming up! 3 days at the end of April.

My April goal is 28 pages.

I'm amazed so many gals are going on scrap weekends--lucky!! I didn't make my goal for March, but that's OK because I was way over in February.

I think I'll shoot for 15 in April. I should be able to make that, since I have a few already in the works that I didn't get done in March..

I did so well in March, more challenges with VSBN, I raised my annual. If this trend keeps up I'll have my annual met quite early! Just not sure what is in store for scrapping time available yet.

I didn't make my March layout a day goal but I'm happy I completed 20 layouts. Now I have lots of ideas for VSBN pages but no way to scrap them since I'm on vacation with no scrapbooking supplies or photos. Oh well, guess I'll have to work on them when I get home. Please put my April goal down as 20 layouts.

I'm new to this, but it fits right on with my goals I set for the year. I set 180 pages total= avg of 15/month for scrapping. Spent last weekend working on pages thanks to the VSB challenge, and got 14 pages done. Stuff planned for the next 2 weekends but that still leaves 2 more until the end of the month.
SO- I say another 10 pages by month end? That's very ambitious for me, but I do have a 3 hour crop night at Michaels coming up, and 2 Sunday afternoons set aside.

I would love to "go away" for a crop weekend. Haven't been able to find anything like that up here, but I'll keep looking....

Mamamouse, we don't have many crops up here either. The ones we do have are at least an hour away. I find Splitcoast helps the motivation a LOT!

I signed up for a 4 day crop in May, which won't help my March (already too late) or April goals (off to a good start) with 2 done for this month. Well almost done, as soon as I glue my title down. I can't seem to keep at my scrapping for more than 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Whats up with that??

Wow - lots of people going off for crops this month! Have a great and productive time! I usually get a lot of visiting in at crops, but not many pages, so I've stopped going. I find packing up and getting there so much work! I'm more productive in my own little crafty corner world here at home. Good luck everyone! There are some great goals up - and even one page toward the goal is a success! I'm getting a lot done right now, but the way my mojo works - it could dry up tomorrow! LOL
