Hostess: PAULINE
Type of Swap: Large Group
When: April 14th
Time: 10 AM to ?
Where: Paulines House (address will be sent after RSVP closes)
There is no fee for this swap.
We will have a potluck. See below for sign-ups. I will provide paper products and drinks.
THEME: BUGS (flys, ants, butterflys, worms, etc)
Each person attending will bring at least one sample of a completed card project and kits of the sample to complete. Each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap. ENVELOPES ARE NOT REQUIRED...UNLESS CARD IS OF A SIZE OTHER THAN THE REGULAR SIZE.
The swap is not limited to cards...other paper projects are welcomed.
The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required, however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.
Please bring a basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.
The swap will begin promptly at 10:00 am and conclude when all the cards have been completed.
The cut-off date for sign up will be April 7th. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.
Should there be a need to cancel, please inform Candice with an email no later than April 7th.

Just a thought...if we skip lunch, (but I am soooo looking forward to that taco salad!) we would probably be finished with our swap in time for those who want to, to attend the stamp convention.

Email That Was Sent Out...
Here is an email I sent out a few minutes ago..
Hopefully you all are able to enjoy this "very brief" blue sky we have out.
We are still looking for sign-ups. We hope that you can make it out to join us. From what I understand the Rubber Stamp Convention is in town the same day. For those that are attending the convention, you can still attend the swap. There are a few of us that won't be attending, but I do know that was a concern for others.
On another note, I wanted to take a quick minute to reiterate the "guidelines" for ALL of our swaps. Our group is an "assemble" only group. What that means is when you bring your kits, they should ALL be pre-stamped, pre-cut, pre-colored, etc...so that all we have to do is pick up the kit and assemble it, and move onto the next one.
I can't wait to see everyone again..it's been too long!
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello ladies,
I am not going to be able to make this one :( It is the last weekend of my, and my kids', spring break. I am hoping to travel to a few colleges for visits with my eldest who is a senior next year, and I am wanting to leave that whole time free, in case we want to do a weekend trip somewhere. It is kind of up in the air right now, so rather than make plans and have to cancel, I am just going to plan to miss this one. Hope to see you at the next one!

Uh-oh, Candice, I sent you an email last week but it doesn't look like you got it... I'm bummed! I have some family stuff to take care of on Saturday and I can't make the swap. :( I hate it when I have to miss a swap because it's so fun spending time with my ladies!! But, I just can't get out of the family stuff.... I was supposed to bring black beans and olives, so maybe someone else can get those? Have fun - I'll see you all the next time around!

Thanks for the gold star Pauline, but I was thinking more along the lines of a cash prize or a new refrigerator.
