A Wedding Is
Author Unknown.
A wedding is an altar
Surrounded by flowers,
A tear and a smile
And a hush in the air . . .
A wedding is Lohengrin
Played sweet and low,
A ring, a bouquet,
And marriage vows spoken
A pledge of true love
That’s forever unbroken. . . .
A wedding’s two hearts
Side by side,
A bride dressed in white and a groom . . .
The start of a future that’s bright
Of a wonderful
Lifetime together.

Distance
Only lends enchantment,
Though the ocean waves divide;
Absence makes the heart grow fonder,
Longing to be near your side.

A successful marriage is always a triangle – a man, a woman, and God. (Cecil Myers).

I LOVE MUD!
Author Unknown
Mud is very nice to feel
All squishy-squash between my toes!
I’d rather wade in wiggle mud
Then smell a silly rose.
Nobody else but the rosebush knows
How nice mud feels
Between my toes!

Little boys’ pockets hold
Magical things
Earthworms, apple cores,
A mess of string.
But this treasure is nothing
To the wealth one finds
In little boys’ hearts
And little boys’ minds.
