Hello Friends, and welcome to Spy HeadQuarters. This is the Round 2 of the weekly "I Spy" challenge. I'd like to thank those of you that played in round 1. Thank you for making it so much fun and so successfull. Hopefully we will meet lots of new players in round 2.
If you are new to the I Spy Challenge it works like this: Have you ever played I Spy as a child? You would sit in the back seat of the car with your big brother or little sister and while at a stop light you would see a bush with cool looking flowers on it and you would say "I spy with my little eye something green." And your siblings would take a guess at what it is you spied. If they were wrong then you would add "It has white flowers." and they would guess again. This would go on until one of them guessed that you spied a snowball bush.
Well, this challenge is based on that game.
This is an example of how it will work. Every Saturday I will post something like: "I spy with my little eye something in a tree. It is red and black in color. It has wings and it has feathers.
Now the challenge for everyone is to make a card using at least one element of the description of what I spied.
If you really want to challenge yourself, use all of the elements of the description. And the biggest challenge would be to guess what it is that I spied and add that onto your card. Please do not mention the item you believe it is I spied. The fun is using the descritption itself. On the following Saturday I will tell you the item I spied...Don't forget to look at everyone's cards and see what they came up with. And let's make sure we leave comments on everyone's cards.
The first person to post their card showing the image that I Spied will win a prize.
What to do with the cards we make. Every person that plays this challenge and posts their card in the Spy Quarters (the thread) will get their name put into a drawing. The drawing is to see who our "Happy Mail Spy" will be. Whoever's name is drawn will be the recipient of the cards. Keep in mind that it is NOT mandatory that you send your cards to the Happy Mail Spy. However, if you do choose to send your card to the winner all you have to do is pm me for the winners address. Please keep in mind that you MUST post your card to the thread in order to be included in the drawing.
Please grab your spy kit and come and join in on the fun. If we become a chatty group...lol..IF...I know we will be a chatty group so if you are new to challenges or new to SCS just jump on in and say Hello. This challenge is open to each and every person that wants to play. It is a new challenge so if you have any ideas on how to make this challenge more fun, please pm your ideas to me.
So is everyone ready??? I know Lauren is.....let's get to know each other as friends by introducing ourselves. Feel free to tell us something fun about yourself. Please keep in mind that you do NOT have to chat with us in order to play the I Spy Challenge. However, if you are new and do like to chat...then jump on in and chat away.....Oh there is one BIG rule in this challenge and that is toHAVE FUN!!!!

Okay - I had a little bit of time before the kiddies got up wanting breakfast (they're so demanding like that - LOL). So, here's my take.....

OMG it amazes me when I see what the answer is! Then the clues are so easy to understand. Dah! I don't think I have a stamp or image that fits but.....
Thanks Kathy! Did I do this right? I couldn't post it on my SCS gallery, it said my image was too large and my job as waffle maker was calling so I didn't even try to fix it....

Sure, you can do it however it works for you. I usually downsize mine and then post in the gallery with a link here, but I don't think it really matters, just so you post! I was thinking the answer could be coffee, because the caffeine would give me power, but couldn't figure out how I could use it with a bath, unless it was a coffee bath!
Lisa, AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!! Thank you again for hosting for me. I am getting ready to head out here in a bit but wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. I hope everyone is thrilled to see Lisa hosting again. Yay!!!!! I am going on vacation for a week, however, I will still be coming out here but I had to get things ready this moring and knew I didn't have time to post a challenge that is why I asked Lisa to do it again. And I am so thankfull she so graciously accepted. Yay!!!! Oh and ladies you can use the keyword DDISPY2-01 I am so glad to see everyone playing along. Big huggs to all of you. Tee Hee....... Donna and Lisa, sorry I did not blog yesterday, I did not make a card...... I was not well!!!! Feel good today though....
Told you I would do it today Even told my sister, I HAVE to get on TODAY or Lynn is really going to be mad at me. JK. Still need to play around with it some more.
Mine is a year or 2 older...but yup. great little camera...it has been camping and everything...there are a ton of settings! yup the manual will be your best friend! For cards I use the macro mode and get up close.
good to know Lynn, cuz you know how challenged I am when it comes to electronics.
