We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
The purpose of this thread is to coordinate hotel and travel to Tracy Harp's Spring Fest in the Buffalo, NY area on April 28th, 2012.
Many of us stay at the same hotel and stamp together into the wee hours of the morning.
PLEASE feel free to chime in if you have hotel, restaurant, shopping, and travel information to share. Also, if you are travelling alone and want a travel buddy and/or a roommate, please post!!
This helps to keep Tracy's thread from getting overloaded with information that many ladies may not need to follow. I'm NOT in charge, just starting the thread to start the conversations.

Reason: Starting a list ...
Gotta sub. I can't remember what I booked my flight for, but I might be driving now. Anywhere is good for me. Don't know if I will be working on my new contract or not by then, so if I drive, whether or not I can shop with you all depends on if I am getting paid or not by the government. Find out the end of March (it was July, then October, then February ... love gov. contracting especially near an election).

For out of towners - The Ramada Inn on North Forest is not far from the event - less than 5 minute drive to event.
Thanks! Have you been in it recently? How's it look and smell (old, new, smokey, musty)? Is there a breakfast area that we all can use in the evenings to stamp?
We have a very good rate at the hotel linked above. The hotel looks much nicer than any we've had in the past for a similar price. This includes a continental breakfast. They will also provide us with a conference room/area for stamping. That area will depend on how many stampers we have. We will not have the breakfast area because that is a normal restaurant during non-breakfast time. They also have a lounge and entertainment on the weekends.
The rate is ... $79 + tax = $89.87 for 2 to a room.
This rate will be held until March 28th. After that date they will not guarantee rooms at that rate.
Please call the hotel to make your reservations and mention a group rate for the splitcoaststampers group. The number is listed on the website.
Whew...... I thought you were going to say you already contacted her.
I'd be happy to triple up if you want... if another single doesn't turn up.
I'm not sure Meg has a roomie yet... unless I'm wrong. Maybe send her a PM??

Cheryl and I are going to be staying on Friday night only. We'll hit town around 4 if I take a half day at work so we will be around for some jammie stamping after dinner.
I'm afraid to go shopping with you power shoppers ~ I don't need any excuse to buy more things since I should stick to a budget. LOL But ... can you pm me some of the places to shop so that I can map out a few places in case Cheryl and I want to stop at a couple of places.

ALWAYS willing to enable:
The Crafting Cottage, 32 East Market St., Corning
AJ's Mercantile, 205 Main St., Dansville
The Village Scrapbooker, 39 East Main St., Victor
Buffalo Stamps & Stuff, 3314 Sheridan Drive, Amherst - check the website for their monthly coupons - plus they usually have a coupon in our goodie bags. We shop there Friday and Saturday.
Hey girls...long time no see. Just wondering if there was a reason to not inquire into the Comfort Inn that we stayed at last year? I thought I'd check before I called them. Thanks

I think it is safe to say that I have no problems with shopping, I mean stopping on this road trip. Would love input on what I should look for when I go shopping, I mean window shop. I mean really with the gas prices might as well make this a trip worth taking!
