Thanks Trish, for starting the thread this am...not sure what happened. Life has really gotten in the way of my crafting time and I am missing being here at SC. I am so happy for this thread and being able to see all the lovelies that I have missed.
thanks for posting everyone.
OH my goodness! Thank you so much Trish for favoring my card! Completely unexpected, but I am so glad you liked it and I hope Lisa does too! CAS cards are not my usual and are the hardest for me to do, but after seeing Lisa's amazing gallery, it makes me want to try that style more often! Thank you so much to Karen for letting me know! You guys are the best! Now I am off to look at my favorites so I can post some here!
Mattsgirl, thank you so much for mentioning my valentine. I felt last week that I was "mojo-less" and you have given me a "spark"! Thanks too, Karen, for bringing Mattsgirl's comment to my attention. It is appreciated. Hugs, Sallie
Thanks so much Trish for starting this weeks CAS favorite Thread. I think the weather has made time on SCS a real challenge this week. Rain, Wind, Snow, Ice.....all across the country. I know I had much less time with no internet connection off and on all week.
Here are my favorites.......and I am sure there are many more.
Many thanks to Trish for starting the thread this week - it was supposed to be me but I mixed up my weeks.
This week's CAS Challenge produced a huge number of stunning cards. Too many to list all the ones I loved here so if you want to see more go to the CAS153 gallery here:
Trish, such a dear to start the thread for us today. Thank you for mentioning my CAS challenge card from this week French and Minimal Valentine. I had fun creating that one.
Awwwwwwwwww...Thank you my friend Nancy aka nancy littrell for faving my cute buttons card. It was hard to let go of those beauties. Hee. MWAH!. Thank you Karen for letting me know!
I have had a cold this week, so if I didn't leave you any love, don't take it personally. :( Here a a few gems that I didn't yet see mentioned on this thread:
Made with Love by Biggan isn't CAS for her, but well worth sharing Gratitude by abbysmom2198 is very clean while using an eye-catching DP Valentine's Day Tree is a happy little card by Westie2 Bordered Best Friends is an example of why I'm fast becoming an inkpad fan Easels Galore is a really sweet collection of beautiful but quick-to-craft cards by mothers daughter Forever by SweetnSassyStamps is a perfect clean Valentine Lighthearted Masculine Valentine is a fun, sweet and wonderful card by ruby-heartedmom Valentine Bird by jaydekay was one of my favorites of the many amazing cards inspired by Loll Thompson's sketch last Monday For You by Holstein, however has to be mentioned favorably with that last card...pastoral and delightful Birthday Wish by MattsGirl is one of those cards that the more you look, the more you find to love Almalene by Pat Smethers is a perfect example of the best of clean and the best of elegant.
Could I Have a Squeeze by Benzi is anything but a lemon
Thanks to Trish for getting the ball rolling this morning and to Karen for the heads up that she shares each week - hugz to both of you! Thank you to each of you who posts cards for your inspiration. Have a peaceful week.
