************************* Ive been contemplating bringing in more hostesses full time and after finding them and giving them some of my tips I totally surprised myself and them too I thinkI had planned to stay with the new hostesses through June then decided after a couple days of migraines that the year is coming to an end and so are my challenge hostess days. Ive been the SC hostess for six years and I'm ready to move on!
Migraines are still an issue for viewing the screen but have been better this last half of December and on a more fun note - Ive made commitments to friends that will take up one or two afternoons most weeks and I know well have fun during our stamping sessions where I guide them through the card making process.
Ive met a lot of wonderful stampers while being hostess and I enjoyed bringing you a new layout each week.
I am turning the challenge over to three talented stampers who will do a fine job for you and Ill introduce them with links to their gallery.
Happy Stamping this week with a layout borrowed from a scrapbook page in a store ad! Ill be seeing you in the galleryenjoy your stamping time everyone and have a great New Year!
I didnt get a card done this week so our examples come to you from:
Roxie......it is with mixed emotions that I write this....
First, I am so thrilled that you have put up with us for six years.....AND have managed to challenge us each week with absolutely fabulous sketches. I also appreciate the fact that you shared not only your cards....but also your methods and 'tricks' through your card descriptions. I have learned a lot from you. The sketch challenge treasury of sketches is a place I visit often when 'stuck' and looking for ideas.
However......I understand why you are 'retiriing' and know that you have left us in good hands. Sketch challenges are my absolute fav, so I am glad that your 6 year tradition will continue.
I look forward to 'playing' with you in all the challenges.....and look forward to your future creations that will inspire and motivate us.
Sad to see you go Roxie. You've been an AMAZING Challenge Hostess. Thanks so much for all the hard work and effort you have put into making this one such a well played challenge. You've brought some very talented stampers on board to take over, but they will have big boots to fill!!!!
Thank you for all you have done Roxie! It was YOU that got me hooked on SCS all those years ago! Sketches were a starting point and without them, I'd have been lost.
I understand your need to move on, especially with the migraines. I do hope you find some relief from them soon.
Best wishes to you for a wonderful 2012!!!
I look forward to the three new hostesses and know that they'll bring us much inspiration too!
You have done a fabulous job with the Sketches for 6 years and your efforts are very much appreciated. I'm glad to see that the sketches will go on and I hope you can play along from time to time! Thanks again for all you have done to make this such a success!
Wow, Roxie, that is quite a legacy . . . six years of challenges! I know you are leaving us in good hands and I hope we'll see plenty of you around here in the galleries!
you'll be missed. Even when I don't play I make sure I check out the sketch. Someday I will just start doing them all. Your work is always extraordinary and I sure hope you keep uploading samples for us to CASE. Thanks for all you've done.
Roxie, I can't express my gratitude enough for all the wonderful sketches you have brought into my card-making. SIX YEARS....is a total WOW of dedication. You will be missed, but I'm sure you have chosen carefully and these 3 gals will carry on your excellent tradition. May 2012 bring you a healthy, happy New Year. Hugs, Sallie
Roxie, I'm so glad that you are doing what you need to do now. I'm very sad to see you go. After 6 years though, it is time for a change. I hope that this change makes the migranes less frequent. Blessings to you and thank you for all you've done for us here on SCS.

I'm so sorry to see you go. I didn't often post a challenge card on here but I always look forward to wednesdays and it's my first stop on the computer every week. I've saved all the sketches in a folder on my computer and use it constantly as a reference. Your cards are always amazing and you are an inspiration.
As a migraine sufferer myself I can understand how difficult you find the computer...or anything at all while suffering an attack.
Thank you for being an inspiration and God Bless all that you do in the future.
I didn't get to play very long...but I did appreciate the sketches....it was a fun thing to do !! I'm glad it will be continued. Thanks for all you have done and I hope this decision will help you to feel better. I will miss you !!

What she said! How can I say it any better. Sad to see you go, but I know you'll still be 'here'. Welcome to the new hostesses.

Oh Roxie, I am glad that you will be enjoying new stamping adventures, but your sketch challenges will be missed! Although I haven't been able to play very much this past year, one of your sketch challenges was the very first challenge that I entered here and you got me hooked on SCS! If it wasn't for that, I might not even be stamping anymore!! So thanks so much for all of your hard work and dedication to this website! You've picked some very special stampers to take over the reigns, too
Roxie, I want to thank you so much for all the inspiration you have given me over the past 2 1/2 years I have spent on SCS. If it had not been for the wonderful sketches you gave us week after week, year after year, I would have been lost for ideas. I know you have left us in the hands of 3 very talented ladies, but you will be missed.
Again, thank you, Roxie. I wish you a Healthy and Happy New Year!

Roxie....6 years! Wow! You have done such an awesome job and have been so kind to newbies like me who started just a few years ago! I completely understand your decision, but please know you will be greatly missed. I sub to your blog so I can at least keep up with your latest creation. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this! It is a much better challenge because you were here! I thank you for sending us the three very creative ladies to continue this challenge!

Roxie, thanks for all that you have done. Coming up with challenges week after week is a challenge in its self. I'm a very simple stamper, but with your challenges I've come out of my shell a little bit more. Relax and stamp.
