We had a wonderful day. I cooked all day in preparation for the feast tomorrow - we have a full house. All is bought, wrapped, cooked, baked, delivered ... and I am now sitting in the light of the tree, relaxing with a glass of wine.
We had dinner with my mother, who has Alzheimers. She remembered us all today - and that was wonderful. Then off to church to hear my daughter sing a solo. A gathering at our dear friends' home - and then home to hang stockings and read the Polar Express. My kids are 23 and 16, but the traditions are very important to them. I love that!
I hope you are all feeling the happiness and contentment that I am experiencing right now -- and that your holidays are filled with laughter and love.
