1. December is such a busy time of year. I feel like I am always running behind, sometimes so far behind that I feel like I am in first place! Ha! I am sure you all have the same sensation from time to time in December. As a result of December being what it is, I have decided to change it up a little in December. We will still have teaparties, but just a little different than normal.
2.
~ There will be a teaparty each Tuesday in December!
~ There will be a teapot each Tuesday in December to use as inspiration!
~ There will not be a story each Tuesday in December.
~ There will not be an optional destination each Tuesday in December.
3. I am taking the opportunity here to take a little break during a busy time of year and concentrate on some other things. I plan to feature fun Christmas teapots as inspiration each week.
4. Also as a result of this, I need to change the date of the November Tickle a Teapotter month-end challenge which would have been scheduled on November 29th. Instead, it will be the first Tuesday in December which is the 6th. Although there will be no story, there will be a fun Christmas teapot featured and each person being tickled will receive a nice Christmas card from a fellow teapotter. Of course, like always, tickling a teapotter is totally optional, not a requirement of the challenge.
Thank you all for being so fun to teaparty with! It's hard to believe at the end of December, another 52 teaparties have been planned, another 52 teaparties have been attended and another 52 teaparties have gone down in Teapot Tuesday history! Whoo Hoo! Yikes! That's alotta tea and alotta pinkies up! We just might reach 42,000 teaparties someday! Snort!
Please feel free to leave a comment here. I hope you all understand and are okay with the December plans. If any of you would like to host your own teaparty with a destination important to you just let me know.
Cindy............you are totally amazing....and YES we all get overwhelmed...take the time you need to recharge your amazing creative batteries. I haven't been able to upload a card since the first part of September BEFORE my vacation. But I've redecorated my home....painted my mom's house getting ready to sell it and participated in 3 craft shows.
AND I had a new baby GREAT-Granddaughter born on Saturday. Busy...yes...busy ..... stress is what holds us together !!!
I hope to play tomorrow for the twins......my computer in my craft room is sick and I haven't uploaded for a while.....but I will tomorrow if I can. I will make the cards and let you know even if I can't get them uploaded.
Thanks for all you do.............
Warm Teaparty HUGS !!!

Sounds good to me Cindy! I don't know how you do it every week (although you say it's easy for you to make up your stories!) and you certainly deserve some 'story creation' time off!!!
thanks for being such a wild and crazy stamper Cindy !!! (and I mean that in a NICE way!!! LOL!!!) You really make it fun!

Sounds like a plan stan!!:mrgreen: Is is already Christmas?? Geez, time flies when we're having fun. lol Enjoy your time off from crazy story writing and I'm off to drink some more tea.
Hi Cindy... that is a great idea. I know I run around like a chicken with my head cut off, during December and I can understand that YOU could definetly need the time off. You put so much time and effort into our teaparties. Thanks for everything you do.
Big cyber Hugs to you....
Pat
P.S. just heading over to help look after the twins (possibly Kayla too- she has been sick with a cold) and Austin at 10 months old is walking - yikes...
Wow! That is a great idea! I was already worried about not being able to make a card each Tuesday as I seem to be a little behind with everything I need to do between now and Christmas.
Who are you kidding? You may be taking a break from the tea party stories and destinations, but you won't have time for a true VACATION!
BUSY, Busy, busy as we all are. However, enjoy what little free time this gives you and make the most of it!
Thank you for Teapot Tuesdays! This takes a lot of time and planning on your part, but look at all the JOY you bring to others, plus you allow us to all join in!
YOU are the BEST!

Great plan, Cindy!! Although you are probably just switching your time and attention to other stuff, instead of the tea parties...not really taking a break at all! Hig Bugs to you and yours for the upcoming holidays!
Lynda
This is a wise decision, Cindy. You are SO right...Dec. can get so hectic, we forget to enjoy it all! Enjoy the extra time for yourself and your family. We'll all be ready in Jan. to spread more cheer. Hugs, Sallie
Great idea Cindy! You deserve the time!! Thanks for all you do!
Hugs,
Robin

Sounds like a wonderful plan! I hope it really is a little break for you. But, you are still busy!! Thank you for all you do all year, Cindy. And I love the Christmas card idea for tickle a teapotter!
Yes, I think that sounds great. I think I am on inking overload. I need a break, so I know you need one. I still need to make some Christmas cards. I'll leave the light on for you in January Mudder. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You deserve a break today!!!!
Good for you, Cindy!! You, of all people deserve some time away from thinking about creating stories. Take care of yourself, we'll be here come the new year!!
Oh Cindy, you deserve a respite from story creation. You do so much for all of us w/ your inspiration and your wonderfully funny stories. I hope you can relax during your 'time off' and enjoy your Christmas season.
It'll be good for me too b/c I have my carpal tunnel surgery on Friday, so I was going to feel really bad by not being able to send my cards.
Thanks for all you do. You are truely one of the BEST!

Good for you to take a "little" break! I am so happy you host each week, as I always follow, even if I don't always participate!
Happy Holidays!
Hugs,
Maureen
I concur with the masses. You deserve a break. As I read your post, I heard an old McDonalds commercial running through my head. And I'll bet you remember it! :-D
Hugs and Blessings

Cindy and all teapotters - I hope you have been taking the time to enjoy a bit of relaxation. However, Cindy, as others have said, I am sure you do not really take time off - you are still keeping busy updating us on some of our cyber friends. Thanks for all you do - not just the Tuesday stories.
We are having family come for a few days, arriving late tomorrow - so there is a bit of a lull today!
Wanted to wish all my Tea Potter Sisters a very Merry Christmas and all the blessings of the Savior in the year to come!! and a Happy and healthy New Year too - God bless!
