MMTPT173 ~ DESTINATION STATION

This week our destination is Burlington, Ontario, Canada. If you would like a destination for your cards this week, how about sending them to Neil Klippenstein. Neil's story was brought to our attention by fellow Teapotter crystaldolphins (Charlene). Neil is the cousin of very close family friends of Charlene's who was in a motorcycle accident recently. The young driver of a truck who sped up to make it through a yellow light hit Neil on his motorcycle, pushed him into the vehicle in front of him and sent him into the air. He is now a quadrapalegic. He has a wife and 2 kids. He is still in the hospital and likely to be there for months.

There are two videos here. An interview with Neil and a story about a motorcycle ride for Neil to raise funds and bring attention to motorcycle awareness. After seeing the interview, you will agree that Neil is a thoughtful and forgiving man. He is not bitter and remains encouraged. Here is the link:

Motorcycles are close to Neil's heart even though he won't ever ride again. Our cards will bring him great joy which he truly deserves. He has a great attitude and will appreciate the thoughtfulness of strangers.

We are mailing the cards directly to Charlene who will accumulate them, package them up and get them hand delivered to the hospital! A great surprise for Neil and his family!
