We have crammed most of our reading curriculum into the last 6 months, so we'll still be homeschooling, but mostly workbooks and hands on stuff - we are going to get the national parks pass so the kids can do the junior ranger program stuff as we go. I think they will really enjoy that.
My 2 youngest who were 7 and 9 at the time really loved the junior ranger program at Rocky Mountain NP when we were there the other summer. Isn't it great to have the flexibility that home schooling allows to change things up but still get things accomplished. They should enjoy the variety of the states as you travel around.
