My dd and I are going to look at a college that is 10 minutes away - I am keeping my fingers crossed that a. We can afford the tuition and b. she loves it and wants to go there!
One of my friends is driving 7.5 hours to pick up her son for Thanksgiving .. just sounds like a big, fat drag to me.
