We had a hard time getting our unity candle to light. You know how when candles are shrink wrapped, the wick gets stuck down to the wax? Yeah.
Mom was a little miffed that I chose a short-sleeved wedding dress. She thought long sleeves were more proper (or something) and she was afraid it would be cold in October. Well, it got to about 85° that day and the air conditioning wasn't working right in the reception building. I'm so glad I had short sleeves!
DH's brother and uncle got lost on their way to the reception. BIL knew the way, but he was too inebriated to give uncle good directions.
