DOH! I forgot to purchase styrofoam at Michaels! (I knew I would forget something when I could not find my list!!) Guess I will have to make another trip tomorrow... ;)
I'm also in California ... no snow, no styrofoam balls, no Flower Soft, only flock I have is brown & green. This is going to take some thought. But I'll find a way to pull it off.

what about....COTTON BALLS? Q-TIP? they are white and fluffy ;)
Well in CA brown is the color of grass in CA in the winter that would work. LOL!
Meredith, I never made it out of the house. Great excuse to go shopping again.
Hi to everyone else! Can't wait to see what you make.
I am delighted with my homemade flower soft. I had to try it after Lee posted our shopping list. I made some more for bird feed(for cards!!) again today. I added some yellow flocking to the colored styrofoam. Turned out so pretty. So now I am off to use my styrofoam white!!!! (a little easier then coloring it)
hmm I think this can be done also grating white cardstock with a cheese grater, I have done it before, I bet it would be similar

I had white fun flock for the snow - I hope it shows in the picture. I used Elmers Glue All to hold it down. Colored with Copics. Used my Creative Memories Circle Cutter since I'd already put down the fun flock and it wasn't dry so I couldn't used my cicle nesties. The scalloped circleis a die (Sizzix). The Dots EF reminds me of snowballs (it's not swiss dots but the Polka Dots folder).
I am here!!! I had to warm up dinner, eat, and then make the last card! But ready to go! I have some flower soft, wait for it.... I have never even used it. I have had it for over a year! So, here I go!

I forgot to add you can easily add glitter to this too, but it comes out really soft as well, hope it's a suitable substitute, as it will be what I have to do if I get a chance to do this challenge

I couldn't even find a cotton ball. But I did have a disposable makeup pad, the round kind with a bit of cotton in the middle. I cut open the textured stuff, plucked out the layer of cotton and glued down the little pieces.
I have to wait for the glue to dry on this. The flower soft keeps falling off when I pick up the card. I will go to next challenge, and when my glue drys, I will finish it and upload it.
