Here is my HYCCT1131 Costume card all dressed up in Shabby Chic. It is so not me, but so much fun to pretend. Thanks for such a fun challenge! I'm making seven cards to send in.
Here is a link to my card Put on your party dress
Whew! I can't believe that I only have one more card to make for this month's challenge. Then another package to MD Anderson! This has been a lot of fun!
Well Lydia, great way to challenge us... get us out of our comfort zones... although this whole challenge has been a challenge for me as I have tried techniques I have never done (marbling, sketches etc)...
so here is mine.... I dont do many guys cards so thought that would be different, and I have layered and used different patterns aaaaggghhhhh :p
My last card! I went with shabby chic, I admire you girls that can pull together a shabby card and just make it look so easy. Thank you so much ladies for all of the fun challenges.
Just to make myself feel better, I finished the last challenge although I still have six more challenges to complete.
This was definitely not my style as I usually consider anything made with re-inkers, bleach or other "wet" stuff to be too messy (or I just make a mess of it!) But the Bleached Out Image technique turned out to be rather fun and I'll try it again sometime.
It's funny reading everyone's comments about not knowing what their style is as it's more obvious to me what someone else's style is, but I don't have a clue what mine is.
I am a clean and simple stamper but I added some "pretties" to my card. I used this beautiful candle stamp from sweet 'n Sassy to light a candle of hope for all those fighting this horrible disease.
I am a survivor since 2003 but have had a couple re occurrences and I always cringe when you go for my yearly checkup.
Thank you for hosting these challenges I have enjoyed making them and pray that the hands they end up in will be touched and healed
I actually broke my pine branch punch making this card! The entire thing fell apart! But, it was for a good cause and I don't plan on making any more of these Wreath Cards.
woo hoo! The last one! Wasn't sure where to go with this one. I just can't do frilly and lacey so I decided to go with a collage on a tag, which is a random form of stamping that I don't normally do. I was going to add a bunch of bling but I'm not really good with bling and didn't want to ruin my card! tfl and congrats to everyone who participated! Awesome challenge!
Here's my contribution. I don't usually use a corner rounder but I did here. Along with this week's Card Positioning Systems sketch.
Lydia, this Suzi Blu stamp is from the pet drive you did on your blog, remember?
*smile*
TFL!
Well this is it...my last card for the HYCCT card drive. I can't believe I was able to do all of the challenges! Lydia, thanks so much for all your (and the other hostesses) hard work in making this card drive possible!
This was the hardest one to do...something out of my comfort zone...I tried using different patterned papers that I normally wouldn't use together. I tried making it CAS which I normally don't do either....not sure I like it....I don't know....
Here's my card, Cardinal. I had a hard time with this since I have been growing in my card designs. I started out as CAS and now I am adding a little more to my cards. I decided to add more than I normally would!
My final card and last one for the power outage (4 days so far...) I decided either steam punk or CAS, minimalist style would disguise me very well. Since I have no steam punk images is was CAS. I hope it's simple enough!! Here's my Bug Me!
Thanks for all the fun Lydia and friends!! I have had a blast and am inspired to help a similar group closer to home!

This is it! The last of my challenge cards are done. This one was the harest one for me I think. Since I'm not really sure what I would call my style, it was difficult to chose my costume of something that my style is not. But the one thing Im pretty sure my style is not is Shabby Chic. So that is what I chose - But I hardly knew how to go about making a Shabby Chic card. I gave it my best shot. Here it is: HYCCT1131 It's a Costume Party by pvilbaum - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Not sure I have a specific style but I don't usually do shabby chic. I love the look but since it took me 3 days to make this card I know it's out of my comfort zone. Here is my card: Shabby Chic Flower
Lydia, you should consider yourself lucky in getting me to use glitter on a card. I just wish it showed up better in the photo, but it is definitely there on the wings and the halo...
I don't know that I really have a 'stamping style' per se - but I rarely make a card that has more than one fold in it - so I went with a fancy folded card (center step card) as my 'costume'. Here is it, hope you like it!
