Inspiration Challenge 309 ~ The Wallpaper Collective
This weeks challenge site was suggested by Denise (Card Crazy). At The Wallpaper Collective, they are on a constant quest for the most interesting, clever, hip and beautiful wallpapers they can find. Artisanal wallpaper is on a design high. Artists from coast to coast in the United States, and throughout the world, have flocked to wallpaper as a medium, with small batch productions of gorgeous papers and you can find them at The Wallpaper Collective.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded five of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from The Wallpaper Collective that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC309 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Thanks for the link to the fun wallpaper place Denise and Stef!
I just had to do a card like the "Leaf Pistachio" paper.
Here is my CAS Leaf Sympathy card.
Yikes - so many wallpapers! I was inspired by the same poppies that Stef was but changed the embossing to gold and used terrecotta tile instead of red paper.
Great site with LOTS to choose from. Back to play this afternoon after errands, shopping, raking, etc. In the meantime here's a project I finished last night that fits Inspired Plaques
So maybe some of the crowds at the stores will have cleared while I took time to stamp before heading out on my errands Here's another Inspired Neutral Lighthouse

So much inspiration ... so little time ... BUT enough time to make three crds today ... yah-hoo! Here is my Birds and Butterflies on Vines card. THANKS for looking!
For the Inspiration Challenge- Wallpaper Collective- I was drawn to the Red Butterflies. I love butterflies, flowers and fairies, so I put these together in my card, with pink and green being my dominant colors. The reverse cut flower background is recycled cardstock from my stamping friends. SU's Warm Words stamp set provided the "sparkle"- accented with a silver tie and green shimmery ribbon- and "giggle" just seemed to work here. My daughter was a big fan of dress up play dates when she was little, so I put 2 very cheerful fairies here Have a magical day!
