We got there at 11:00 and met with one vet for close to an hour for him to get the history and to do a physical exam--checking her all over with his hands and a stethescope. He then said to come back at 5:00 as they would do an ultrasound on her spleen and kidney, along with having the surgeon check the tumor on her face. I think they had other people involved in the process during the day. the vet called a little before 4:00 and told us to come back. He gave us the news that it spread and then spent probably another hour going over options and stuff like that. It was a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone with a pet they want another opinion. He really spent time talked to Claudia, answering questions and coming up with options. He was very complete!
Poor Claudia, no matter what her decision is, it will not be an easy one.
Who would have thought that paper, ink & rubber could create a priceless keepsake or give me treasured friends.
