There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for August, just remember those who do finish within the designated month go in for a small prize!

I made the vertical one for the last VSN and then realized a couple of days later the dp I used had a definite direction to it! I made 5 horizontal ones for this month. I also added the black dew drops and the glitter gel pen on the wings and halo afterwards. Just looked like it needed a bit more...
Can't believe I am up to August already, the ideas just seem to be flowing right now!
I'm on a roll! I also killed two birds with one stone. Here are my August cards which also meet the Flourishes Noel challenge. The Santa, I Believe set is the best looking Santa I have ever seen. Thank you for looking!
I was thinking about doing something with these snowflake stamps and seen that there is a challenge under way on the outlines blog to do an brown, aqua, white card and thought hmmm, so this is August card #1... ( have a pile of these stamped and heat embossed in various combos similar to the ones on this card and some with chocolate cs, so the rest of august will probably be more snowflakes...) I have alot more Christmas done so far then "winter"

Okay used up the entire pile of embossed snowflakes and sentiments from outlines that i did last week when i did the first card... something else i have been doing all year is when I have a pile of small scraps at the end of doing a few big cards i make some either tags or folding gift cards from the scraps so these are the "scraps" of the first 5 August cards...
It seems crazy to me, but here are my August cards - I can't believe I've finished them and it's only July! Of course, that might be because I'm full of crafting energy at the moment - must take advantage of that while it lasts!!!
