ABC/123 Letters M and N
Title: ABC/123 VSBN: Letters M and N
Hostess: Chantsie
Keyword: Fall11VSBN7
Day/Date: Saturday, September 24
Time: 4pm
Welcome to our Fall VSBN Academy. During your time here you will work on your personal ABC Album, the Subject is yours to choose. Each Academy Teacher will share with you what Subject they chose. You are to work on the Letters that they share with you. However, you do not need to use their word (unless you want too). The challenge will be their 1-2-3 steps below. Enjoy and be sure to share your page here and to use the correct keyword. Read the rules below your Teacher's challenge to be sure to get included for any Award or Recognition.
My Godchild Jude is starting kindergarten this year, and I have decided to create this album for him. It seems that only yesterday he was a little baby in my arms!!! Jude is growing to be a responsible little boy as he looks after his two little brothers.
My word for the letter M is “many-sided”. Jude is a careful boy and is not one to jump into a situation without knowing he is going to be safe! On the other hand, he is very much the little boy, wanting to play and get in as many fun times as he can!
I have decided to use a French word, which I found in an English Webster’s dictionary, for the letter N – “nonpareil”. There is no one like Jude, he is a unique little boy. I can already see how particular he is about certain things and he is very much his own person already!!!
You are free to choose your own words for each challenge, but you should include the criteria from 1, 2 and 3 below:
1 – Have at least one photo per layout.
2 – Choose at least two embellishments for each page, such as ribbon and flowers, or rhinestones and stickers.
3 – Use at least three colours on each page or layout (if you do a two page layout the colours can be the same on both pages).
The letters M and N must appear in your title or somewhere prominent on your page.
Here are my Sample Pages: Letter M, Letter N
Here is the GALLERY for this challenge... leave a little love for everyone!
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Sunday, October 2, 2011 using the correct Keyword. Each letter can be represented as an upload either individual or as a double page spread.
2. You have a total 2 working hours to complete the challenge (the concept is you can complete 1 page for each letter represented using the challenge as a guide). For contest purposes, 1 'Letter' per participant per challenge will be eligible to earn award/recognition. For example: if you complete 2+ 'A' individual pages for this challenge, and upload each of them to the gallery you can only win one award/recognition for only one of your pages; other 'A' pages are part of the gallery to share but cannot win any award/recognition. If you upload a double page spread for 1 Letter as one upload, it will be considered one upload; please do not upload the pages individually or they will not be considered a double page spread.
3. It is the VSBN Challenge Host's decision to award/recognize pages that best represent her challenge based on the criteria in the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
4. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD: Fall11VSBN7, when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen by the host and all visitors.

Good question! At least two, but you can go with more if you'd like. I have more than two.

Hey Chantsie! No French rods for me, but my N word is one I can not even pronounce. I had to look it up for the spelling even!
Not to be the teachers pet or anything, but I have my pages done.
Boy I love digital!
Clint and I have the two rooms all switched now except for my computer.
I didn't want any glitches this weekend! LOL
Wanna hear something funny?
We got his big tv all moved and it wouldn't work. took it back out to the living room and it worked fine! Guess what gets to stay in my craft room?
He took all the measurements for my wall, it will probably be done next week.

LOL! I have a teeny-tiny t.v. in my craft room.
Awesome that you got your pages done!!!! I haven't gotten as many as I would have liked done, I have to admit. It's my Dad's birthday this weekend, so I have been cleaning house and scrapping as much as I can all week but didn't manage to get as far ahead as I'd liked!!!

I feel bad that I haven't done any since the mini; but, I'm doing digi and that goes much quicker than paper so I'm hoping to finish the room sometime today then relax and scrap :-)

Not so sure I'd call it lucky, I had to give up one of my stamping tables, because its way too heavy for my entertainment center.
Clint's Entertainment center is huge and really heavy, it's all glass and brass and there is no way I'm moving that thing again! LOL
he's gonna try to get Dish out here to figure that issue out so it might not be staying in my room too long.
His Man Cave is coming together way faster then my new room.
I took over what was the living room, one of the advantages of being out in the sticks, very few visitors.. and mine are always in my craft room anyhow.

Sorry I'm late Chantsie! I was all set to go and then DH & JT came home with a new kitty so I had to grab my camera and go out for a photo moment. The APL NE Ohio had a little news segment on all the news shows that they need help finding homes for kitties so my DH caved and let JT get another. Cute little 1 lb black and white -- he named her Moo!
Way to go Vikki to have your pages done! Great Job! ;)

Hello...just back from the milk store. I rode along just to get out of the house and some fresh air. Still not feeling up to par so we'll see what I get done. Everything is ready to go sitting in PSE9 including the pictures...would just have to place and find embellishments but I've got to eat something and nothing is really appealing to me today :(
I like this challenge....nice and easy so it should be quick to do.

I'm holding out for the tv with the apps. We have one in our bedroom with access to netflix, you tube, etc and I'd use those features in here then I don't have to worry about getting the direct tv hooked up. Though not sure about netflix lately, maybe just a good tv with the upgraded blu ray...I'll let dh decide since he's gifting to me ;-)

We had a similar news story and my dds were begging but we have 2 indoor cats already and we aren't in an environment to have outdoor cats. Well we have outdoor pool cats, LOL! Our pool is enclosed and they beg to go out on the deck every AM and love it until the pool fountains come on...you'd think they'd be use to it by now.
Making progress on my room...I'm even getting rid of old DCWV & similar paper packs that I never use anymore. I cringe on the amount of money I spent on those things I thought I would use and never do. I'm much better at not spending compared to those earlier years :-)

I'm a sucker for kitties so I guess you won't get detention this time! (Just kidding!)
I'm going back and forth from getting ready for my Dad's birthday celebration this evening and checking the chatting... Saturdays are always busy, even when they're not!!!!

Happy B-Day to your Dad!

I'm late into class but I'm here!
This class started at 6am Sunday morning for me - I woke at 6:30am but I have to run my 16yo boy to work. THEN I'll do some cramming and get my pages done.
It's gonna be a busy scrapping day! Woohoo!
My M page will be "Miso Soup with Udon Noodles"
My N page will be "Nana Robbie's Neverfail Sponge" (My ex-mil's recipe and so yummy)
I am hoping to do a 'bulk' upload later tonight or tomorrow to prove I've done my pages!
Thanks for my Late Slip - I'll take the last seat at the back.
