Cowboy Up! It's VSN time!!
Hey y'all, When I think of Rodeo I think of tall, lanky cowboys with those cowboy hats and those tight fitting wrangler.....oops.. wrong thread ;-)
One of the items that I see a lot of at a Rodeo is leather. Leather belts, to hold up those buckles, leather chaps, leather boots.... you get the idea. So, my plan for this rodeo is as follows: Please make a project that incorporates faux leather....

Oh my goodness, I had troubles with the internet right in the middle of VSN! Luckily, I had already looked at the tutatorial, and just went ahead and made my card.
So fun! Here is my card.
I had just used real suede on my first card tonight! LOL

Another challenge to take me out of my comfort zone. I enjoyed this technique and will have to remember it next Father's Day. The card is not one of my favorites but it'll do.
Here is my sample - RUSTIC LEATHER ROOSTER. I think this is my favorite challenge so far! I hope to participate some tomorrow too - it sure gets the creative juices flowing!

Hi Patti -- Your rooster is CUTE (I love that stamp!!!)...but your card isn't showing up in the gallery due to a typo...you need to add a C to the AUG11VSN in your keywords...
well, while I was digging for tape ( which is still hiding) found these backgrounds I had made a while back ( i do that make multiples of messy things) and cut it into a tag and made it darker and more crumply...
(just a distress stamp and distress inks)
