Julie sounds like she could use a virtual hug. So I think she should be our end of the month destination. I hope I voted right, I voted NOT to Tickle ... that means make Julie the destination instead, right?
By the way, in case some one has not seen this, I often use this verse to enclose, and do not sign the actual card - thereby allowing the recipient to send the card on, if desired. I think I found this a few years back in the RAK or WishRAK forum. There were other verses, but this is the one I use.

I voted to tickle as we regularly do. I think if we all send Julie a GET WELL card, as we all have extras, she will be surprised! She won't see a single one beforehand, and it will be like Christmas for her, with lots of cards. I will go along with what everyone decides, but I think we should all have fun with this.
I had that same surgery (3 fusions, stainless steel, titanium, cadaver bone) two years ago, and I know how hard her recovery will be. I'll be sending something special to her!!

I voted not to tickle..I think it would be special for Julie to see cards in the gallery just for her along with the good wishes that go along with them.
Well I was going to say lets tickle Julie, but then I read Anne's post and she makes a good point, so now I'm on the fence! Although being tickled means you get a whole story in your honor to go along with the cards! ohhh I can't decide....
I voted not to tickle but I wouldn't mind doing both anyhow - card drive and use our tickle up on Julie!

I have never had my body cut open for surgery and I can't even imagine how awful that would be!! It will make Julie and us feel better to know that she is being favored by having a tea party in her honor!! As much as I enjoy the occasional tickle, an under the weather teapotter comes first in my book!! Kudos to all the teapotters for being such a caring group!!

I voted not to tickle. The reason I participate is to support someone who needs support and Julie clearly does (as nice as it is to receive a hand-made card for no reason!) I think it's more special to have the story and the gallery dedicated largely to her! Thanks for letting us know Cindy!

How about we make Julie the destination station. Then if we post in the thread that we're tickling we can also tickle a teapotter and it would really be a surprise!

I voted not to tickle before I read Anne's post. I like her idea best!
It sounds pretty unanimous Julie should be the one, I agree surgeries are not fun. It also could solve future last minute decisions kinda giving you an extra Teaparty a month ;) for back up. Just a thought.

Let's do them simultaneously!! The story and tea party are for Julie and then The Mudder picks names as usual and then PM's us who to send a card to from our stash, any kind of card will do. Two birds with two cards. Teapotters get a card too!!

I voted to tickle as I have hoards of beautiful cards I've made for other challenges and will add a personal sentiment and send it her way. That way I get my cake and eat it too and Julie gets a card. I have at least 100 - 150 stashed!!!!! Yikes.

I am traveling this week and won't be able to participate this Tuesday and maybe not the last week as well but I did vote to send Julie a card which I will do at some point. Love estdas' poem and will use it often.
I voted "not to tickle". I don't do the tickles anyway....not that I don't love you all...I DO!! I just take a week of rest when there isn't a special cause for someone who needs our cheering. I'm ALL for sending the MMTPT cards to Julie....I'll be sending one too. Hopefully, she would enjoy looking at HER gallery(MMTPT161) of cards from time to time with out getting them out IRL.

I voted Not to Tickle. I'm new to the Teapotters but I think if a fellow teapotter could use some support or cheering up then that's what we should do. I'm all for Destination Julie!
