Fall VSBN Academy Cafeteria (stalking)

It's clost to the start of school and the 'hub' of activity is always in the Cafeteria area. It's where the students go to take a break, eat, and hang out with their friends!

Be sure to hang out here with you scrapping friends. Your Guidance Counselors will stop by to let you know when the first class begins!

Hi guys! Long time no see!!!
My scrapping stuff is still packed in boxes in the basement since the move. But it's well-labeled. I'll see what I can scrape together.

Been OK. Still have a job (which is a good thing) and DH has taken on a partner about 2 months ago so I've got extra bookkeeping duties to keep me busy now. DGS turns 8 next week and got involved with Scouting and Baseball so lots to keep "me" busy over the summer as well as trying to prepare for a garage sale over Labor Day. We contracted to have a patio built back in February (thinking it would be done by now to enjoy over the summer and to throw a big celebration for DH 50th birthday which was on the 7th) but they are only planning on starting it at the end of next week sooo.... a whole new set of chores now that we know they are going to be starting soon. (a bunch of new pictures as well to scrap!) I thought summer was to be relaxing but it never seemed to get that way this year.... I'm looking forward to the theme this VSBN...something a tad different so I hope I'll be able to follow along.

Hi! I will at least be hanging out and chatting tomorrow night. I have SU workshop Saturday morning so will be prepping for it. I will probably do digital for this album. It's going to be an 8x8 of our last Disney trip.

No one said anything...oh well, that's what I get for doing it at 2 AM...I should know to write it down and do it when I'm fresh :-) I had a bout of insomnia last night and am way behind on what I had hoped to have done so I thought I'd tackle it then...hopefully it'll be a non-issue if they read the threads. :rolleyes:

The great thing about the dates is that we will be starting 6:00PM EST which is noon HST - normally would not be able to join, but tomorrow is Admissions Day and the schools are closed!!

Okay, so I'm sitting here watching the morning news & weather and we're expecting storms about the time I need to start the mini today. I live in Florida (national lightening storm area!) and the storms have been intense this week. Sooooooo, the mini may start early or late depending on the situation...let's hope it's all fine :-)

I've seen the news about the water spouts that came on shore yesterday in NC. I've seen one on vacation once but it was out pretty far...seems lots of storms again but it's been pretty nice up our way. I'm planning on being here at 6 tonight provided DH takes DGS away...Rita's Water Ice was what I was told...I requested a treat to be brought home for me too!

Just got home from my niece's 21st birthday luncheon....was a girl thing....very nice!

Only 2-1/2 hrs to go! I was looking at one of the credits in Wendy's one page and found an ABC list all about the "blogee". It was very cool...I might just do something like that one too! (other than the one I've already gotten all the pics planned out for that is!) Gotta go bail out DGS from summer camp and feed him....he's going thru another growth spurt and is HUNGRY ALL the time again.

It's that hollow leg of his !

Love luncheons with the girls - and what a great occasion!!

Mine is going to be a traditional ABC book for my preschoolers - and we actually might make it together - the 3YOs and me so they can each have their own. Am planning on getting a lot of great ideas from everyone!!

less than an hour! I decided I didn't want to wait to re-organize my craft room so I've started it now. Good thing I'm doing digital for this album. LOL!

I'm a newbie to the class and will do my best to be in attendance, given the time difference. I've been a member of SCS for some time but lurk and drool over the gallery more than participate.
I am hoping to change that in the near future, as my work conditions change soon and I'll have more time on my hands. (is this a good thing???) :twisted:

I'd like to give the ABC Album a good attempt and will be choosing my favourite recipes that I make - I am part Personal Chef and part Labrador so very food-focussed!! (I run my own business as well as just lovin' food!)

AND! I'm up nice and early to participate - 7am here in Sydney. So about to pull out some tools and supplies and mess up my desk in anticipation!

It's good you have no storms Mary Pat. We are having one right now so I unplugged the computer and am going off battery power at the moment. Seems to be starting to clear up.

I'm going to do an ABC book of DGS first year or so...got all the pictures picked out with possible words to use. I'm going to try to do this all digi and it sounds like the first challenge at least can be done that way.....

I think it's going to be easier than everyone thinks. I was able to finish (well sort of) 4 digi pages today and still do housework, clean the pool, and cook dinner...and be on-line. So if slow poke me can do that, ANYONE can! :-)
