August 2011 Release Party Challenge #2

Happy Release Party Greetings!!

I'm thrilled that you've joined us for our first release party here at SCS!! And I'm even more excited to be bringing you our next challenge!

Challenge #2 is a technique challenge - Stamping on Acetate

The card that I'm sharing is one that I created for last week's Sneak Peek and it's using the stunning new set, Autumn Leaves. For my card, I stamped the leaves on a piece of acetate, turned it over and colored the images with Copic markers. However, feel free to incorporate acetate on your card in whatever form you'd like! Then post to our gallery...Here are the important details:

- Use the keyword SNSSAUG11RP02 when uploading to the gallery
- You don't have to use a Sweet 'n Sassy image to play (but if you do, add one of our keywords, too!)
- The deadline to have your cards uploaded by is Thursday, August 18th at 9:00 PM EST. We'll announce the winners on Friday, August 19th!
- What you can win: a randomly selected player from the gallery will win their choice of ONE free stamp set from our August release!
- You are welcome to combine challenges tonight, but you are only eligible to win one prize.

Love it and love that you used acetate for the fishbowl, great idea!

Well, I took up your challenge. I tried the acrylic smash technique found in the resources section. It's hard to see in my picture, but the leaves from french foliage are stamped on the acetate before applying the paint to the back. This was a true challenge for me and took me out of my comfort zone. Thanks!

Here is my card. This was a tough challenge. I tried to stamp an image but didn't work so just went with a saying.
