One of our fellow SCSers needs our help! I received a pm from tazadecafe. She has a friend that wants to make a baby card, but she doesn't have any baby sets or baby related stamps. Thanks Gina for the great LSC idea!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Please remember to putLSC53in the keyword box when you upload. Some people go right to the gallery and search with the keyword to see our cards.

Here are some adorable and creative samples to get you thinking.
I had fun stamping, today... no school because of ice! FINALLY! We have 9 extra days in our calendar for winter weather, we deserve to use at least one ;-)
So, of coarse, one of the cards is a baby card! This is a baby boy card. I plan on making a baby girl card similar to it. I have 2 co-workers expecting in the spring. One is having her second boy and the other is having her second girl.

Wow Jen, thanks. This is just in time for me, my DH's brother and his wife just found out they are having twins. So I can be way ahead of the game, if I start now on cards for them.
You lucky girl - a snow day! Here in Ohio we haven't used one yet. You'll get a kick out of this - I just bought the stamp you used in your card today at a local rubber store. Thanks for giving me a non-Easter use for it. I'll try to post to the challenge tomorrow.

Not sure I understand the rule about what stamps can or can't be used....the card can or can't have a pull toy on it? Nothing specifically baby? Or it just can't be a stamp set with several stamps designed to make baby cards?
Sorry to be thick-headed! Must be pregnancy brain?
I can definitely use this for making my thank yous-Very timely for me! Thanks for the challenge!
OK Jen. It's way too late for me to be still up. But here it is! Now I can get some housecleaning done in the morning since my challenge is done early!
Thanks for the great idea! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Well, I decided to do the challenge tonight. I need all the time I can get tomorrow to clean my house. DH was out of town all week, and the house is a stamping mess. Thanks, Jen, for another great challenge!
Phew - maybe I can use up some of my leftover mint melody! Great challenge, Jen - I'll be thinking on it while I'm at work. I must say that I'm totally intimidated by what I've already seen! Where do you ladies come up with your ideas? WOW! Happy Friday everyone!

Ok, I made this before work this morning! Woo hoo! This is a super-easy small card to put with a baby gift! No elaborate stamping here, just patterned paper, a punch, ribbon and alpha stamps!

Here's mine! Very timely for me! I have been wanting to try the dazzlig diamond dust from Beate's tutorial, and my SIL is expecting her first baby in April! I have practically NO baby related stamps. I am looking forward to seeing other creations! The examples so far are fantastic!! Thanks, Jen..... another fun and great challenge!
What a great challenge. I'm definately in. I was matron of honor for a friend of mind and they had their first, Annie Michaela last month. Me, the card maker still hasn't sent them a congrats card. Slap me, this is just what I needed to get off my duff and do it.
Great challenge, Jen. I will have to think a little on this one. I have a few great baby sets that are extremely versatile that I hang onto. So... you're going to make me think outside the box... huh? I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Here's one I did a couple months ago to coordinate with a Pottery Barn for Kids nursery set. The scan is pretty bad-the colors are very vibrant but hopefully you'll get the idea! The animals on the nursery set are gingham so I used Canvas to mimmick that.
Here's one from my gallery that I made for a baby shower a few weeks ago! I have to make more as they just had a baby boy last Friday! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Ok here is my take on this challenge, I tried to make it generic, but it came out girlie. I used the sketch challenge card style and with the left overs I made a gift card to go with. Thank you for looking.

I had seen little dress cards here on SCS, but I don't remember to whom to give credit now. I made my own simple template using a French curve.
I'd love some critiques and opinions on these. Things to add, improve, what looks best, etc. I'm a newbie, so I am not easily offended! Thanks for looking in any case!
