Did you know today is National Smores Day? Really! I just read it! Boy, I sure love me some gooey smores. Ok, this hot weather can leave so bonfires can be built and smores made!
Your scrapbook variety challenge for this week is to be inspired by smores. You can use the colors of chocolate brown, tan and white or maybe stack some elements to imitate the stacking of the ingredients. Maybe you even have photos of smores being made and enjoyed. Mmmm...off to make a gooey page!
Cute...I heard that it was National Smores Day on the way to work this morning. I think I've even got pics of smores DGS and I tried to make in the microwave...loved the HUGE way the marshmallow blew up! And we discovered that chocolate is extremely runny once it's nuked! We had lots of messy fun but I can't say I enjoyed them this way either...it must be a kid thing! LOL!

I love microwave smore's. LOL. I now call them "11 minute s'mores".
The story: I gave the recipe chatting along with the Stampin' Flybabies...graham cracker, half a Hershey bar, marshmallows, microwave for 11 minutes, top with another graham cracker & enjoy. Wipe face, wash hands, repeat.
One gal in the SFB forum said...11 minutes won't make a tasty treat in MY microwave. (wink)
Another said...if that takes 11 minutes, I'm seriously worried about the quality of chocolate and marshmallows you use in your s'mores.
I said WHAT?!? ??????? It's Kraft Stacker Marshmallows and Hershey Bars? Nothing wrong with that! :confused:
