SIC104 Pleasing Plaids (07/25/11)

Sorry this is a few days late--I forgot it was my week to post an inspiration challenge!

Have you noticed that plaids never seem to go out of style? I’ve always liked plaids—not all plaids, but many of them! I find myself looking at plaids when I shop for both household and clothing items. My DIL is a big plaid fan too. Are you??

MY CHALLENGE TO YOU THIS WEEK IS SIMPLE—use plaid(s) on your page. It can be the paper, ribbon, border, plaid alphas, just use a little or a lot of plaid—any colors too. The plaid can even be in your photos if you want.

For a little inspiration, attached are a few plaids I found while browsing on the internet.

How funny, today I wore a plaid shirt that I bought only because my grand-daughter said gramma plaid is in! Great challenge!

What fun to work with plaid. I think this cow theme, sort of country I guess worked well for plaid paper.

I just downloaded a mini kit from the Blog Train that had plaids in it and thought of this challenge. I'll have to keep it in mind once I find pics that fit the color scheme.

Some nice pages so far, Wendy! Maybe I will work on it, now that I have all 37 DTGD challenges done! I am zonked, between that and VSN. I also have to think of something for Monday. I haven't forgotten!

Here's a dps I did using some plaid. I used a sketch from Motherload's blog for the left side. I had planned to use plaid on the right side too, but somewhere along the line I failed to add the plaid piece before i glued down the collage, so only one side has plaid. Oh well! lol
