Has anyone done something cute with hotel shampoos conditioners etc? If so, do you have a photo of it posted? I am looking for a cute way to present it.
I have searched and searched the Internet and can't find anything. I am a good copy cat, not so good at just thinking something up. Seems like someone has already played with this or altered these things. Can't wait to see ideas
I'll look around and see what I can find. I remember at Christmas time there were lots of posts about making stuff like this. Some people were making cute little covers for hand sanitizers.
You might check for teacher gifts. Lots of times people use little things to put into teacher baskets at the end of the year.
I'm assuming you want to package them up individually? Or do you mean a cute way to present them all, like a basket?

Here's a cute one for mini-hand sanitizer that you may be able to adapt to your containers. It says it is a downloadable SVG file. I don't know what that is, but there is a pretty good pic of the holder.

SHOOT! Naturally, I didn't take pictures. But I did alter lotions and give them to my stamping group. Depending on the shape of the bottle, I did wraps, labels, neck bands, and paper flowers, including putting flowers or gems on the top of the cap, and tying ribbon around the neck or cap. I played around, and came up with something that worked on all the shape bottles I had. It was a hit with the stampers! DH still asks me why I need to take those home with me when we stay somewhere, and I remind him of how neat the little gifts were for my friends.

Hey, I admire your creativity for making it work! My hubby says around our house if anything sits still for more than five minutes, I stick paper and rhinestones on it.

You're right, and Kansas is just up the turnpike from Oklahoma.
Your rhinestones or mine?
Depends on where we play, LOL! I have more rhinestones than I can carry!
We occasionally drive to OK City for dancing, we're only about 2 1/2 hours away in Wichita. (I used to have to drive to Edmond to use a Chase bank when I was managing my mother's account- no Chase banks in Wichita.)
I just found this, it's 9pm I have to get up for work at 4 am. And I want to try them all. Cute cute cute. Now i know what I am going to do with all that hotel soap I save. Lol. Again you are all the very best
I went with my mom to her Dr appt today, and looked through an old Better Homes & Gardens in the waiting room. There was an article on making a guest room welcoming for holiday company, and I thought of this thread. They had a little "mini bar" of snacks in a cute little basket, and a drawer with all kinds of little toiletries with a tag hanging on the knob that said "guest" to let guests know it was there for them to use if they needed/wanted. I know Splitcoast Stampers could have done this article so much better than BHG did! There are some great ideas on this thread.
Well here I am again....my hotel collection is larger....I did take a mess of them, purchased a cute overnight bag all blinded up and gave to a teen...She loved it. Her Mother said she loved them for overnight stays...well that was then...have a huge collection again...it's Christmas again...If you did this again, I would love to see photos! There has to be a clever way to doll this up for preteen and teenage girls! I am thinking about making a lunch pail this year and filling with bottles etc...though I would ask again and see if anyone came up with anything!
Love it! I also have a ton of Dew Drop bottles (I store mine in test tubes in a long segmented holder on the back of the craft room door- the fat little bottles didn't fit into the sections), and a ton of assorted Avon bubble bath scents, so I can always fill a little bottle with bubble bath, and fancy that up. How you decorate the little bottles and tubes really depends on what shape they are. I punch or die cut out labels, put rhinestones or small paper flowers on the caps, make a wrap around sleeve, etc. It all depends on what fits your container. (I really like sticking a rhinestone on the top of the cap, it looks cool!) I have really OLD bottles of Aleene's Jewel It glue & OK To Wash It glue that I use to adhere gems to things. (REALLY old glue has thickened and it intensely tacky right from the application- it holds NOW and stays stuck- I may have to buy some and put it aside to let it age, lol!)
