I can't tell you how excited I am to be hosting this Ways To Use It Challenge for the first time! This is by far my favourite challenge on SCS because it can be so flexible! For me, flexibility gives me more creative license!
With this being June and all, I was thinking that a wedding theme might be fun, but I didn't want that kind of limitation either. So the theme is:
Something Old, Something New
Translation: Use something from your stash that is at least 6 months old, and also use an item that is newer than 6 months old.
It's a great way to use up your stash while still keeping things fresh!

Hi Everyone!
I have been really busy with my son's wedding and have not been on much lately. I came to upload a card that I did for a couple of my design teams that I have not had a chance to post here or blog about and it just happens to fit in today's challenge perfectly!
Here is my "Birthday Candles" card.
The old is the Plain Jane stamp from Verve...you can get it here.... Verve Stamps : Clear Photopolymer Stamps
and the gorgeous scrolled chipboard piece. The new is the Melissa Frances glittered chipboard flower, just got these in the mail two days ago.

For some reason it isn't showing up in the gallery - I uploaded it last night (actually very early this morning my time) and at the time the challenge wasn't up yet, so I didn't put the keyword in. As soon as I saw the challenge, I went back and added the WR329 to the keywords, but when I click on the keyword my card doesn't show. Am I doing something wrong? I have only participated in 2 or 3 challenges before, so am fairly new to this.

Hannah thanks for a great challenge. I love this one. Here's my card.

Thanks for answering Bensarmom! Also, I've noticed it takes a little time for the system to get caught up. It'll be there soon!
I actually used an old hardware piece on the Wonder card, and how old are those things? It pained me to cut into that yummy Razzleberry satin ribbon that I bought last year, but I finally did it. LOL I'm such a hoarder....
