BTW...I am really enjoying this challenge! Now that I have 6 challenges under my belt, I really have the time to add more detail and be more creative with my cards.
Seems like we are always rushing the last minute to get cards made for my kid's classmates so this year with the challenge it was perfect! I let my kids decide on the paper and stamps. Then we sit down and make them all togther. We made 55 of these.
Here are my June cards. I finally broke down and used some little light bulbs that I have been hoarding. The DP was some blank cards I got from a catalog (not sure which one). I thought the cards would come with the printed picture on just one side but it was on the front and the back. I just could not waste it so I have been using them as a layer. I had enough bulbs to make 2 with the clear bulbs, 3 with the frosted bulbs so I made one more card without any bulbs to give me my 6 for the month.
Here are my CCC11 June cards. I liked a fellow participant's card made from this retired SU set that I had to find a used set on the B/S/T board and I bought it! I'm on a monochrome kick that I have to get off of for future cards. Thank you for looking!

Fun card, Pam. I have some of that paper. Don't know why I haven't used it yet.
Here's my June cards. The scan doesn't show very well, but the card is cut the same shape as the blue frame. It's a good thing the scan doesn't show how the frame didn't line up exactly.

Your June cards are so cute. Love those light bulbs!! Congrats on completing your cards for the month!!
Here are my JUne cards! I am so happy to be ahead of the game. I did 12 cards so I am above my above my goals for the year. It will be so nice when I send these all out at the end of Nov!
Okay was messing around with the embossing powders this afternoon and did a pile of this poinsettia ( so some of July will be it too in different colors, maybe even different patterns) haha
I'm itching to getting back to making Christmas cards. Now that I got graduation out of the way, I have a bunch of birthday cards to do June and July. I also have a lot of thank you notes to make for all the donors and helpers for our annual 4th of July celebration we started in 2002. Our Chamber didn't want to deal with anything because "everyone leaves town." Well, they didn't count on the 1000+ people who show up for the free music and bbq. I send out close to 100 thank you notes every year. Sometimes I make them using dollar store plain thank you notes and stamp fireworks on them. I'm so glad I had my June cards done in March.
Oh man! I am in so much trouble! I missed a graduation card! OOPS
It is due today. I'm gonna have to create something with a bot of a WOW effect to make it up to her. LOL
It's Clint's niece.
I am having ADD issues today! I can not stay on one thing for nothing!
Vikki Jo, I'm having the same problem aobut sticking to one thing. I started out with one idea for a birthday card for my granddaughter, then changed my mind. I've wasted over an hour thinking about the first idea. A couple weeks ago I made a graduation card for a nephew and a cousin's daughter. Even had their gifts ready. For some reason I kept thinking they graduated together. My cousin's daughter doesn't graduate until next year. For once I'm way ahead of myself and have to be sure to put the card and present somewhere I can remember. Just have to make a minor adjustment on the card. Time to get back to the birthday card.
