Add an Image
(thanks, Kurtis, for the instructions!)
You can insert an image in a text widget by typing the HTML Image tag into the text box
First enable your widgets on your Plugin page, by selecting to Activate the Widget Sidebar.
Next, go to the Presentation page and select the Sidebar Widgets option.
Add a Text Widget to your sidebar by dragging one into the panel.
**If you don't have one as an option, select to add another one from below the Available Widgets
Click the Text Widget to edit it.
Paste in this code, but change the web address to where your image is on the web:
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/" />
Close the Text Widget and Save Changes.
You have now added an image and can type text around it. Note that to have your text on a separate line than the image, you will need to type the HTML code for a Line Break. You can do this by typing after, or before the image.
Here's how my simple Splitcoast logo is coded on my blog, just for reference:
MaryJo, since you have blogspot, here's how I did it. First, right click on the badge you want then click on "save picture as..." and save it to your computer. On your blog, click on customize if you are already signed in. If you are on your dashboard, click on Layout. On the right, click on add a gadget. Choose Picture. Where it says image, make sure the "from your computer" button is selected and click on the Browse button. Find the badge that you saved to your computer, select it and then click Open. If you want to give it a title or a caption, do so. If you want it to link to SCS or your SCS gallery, put that address in the Link line and then click Save. Once it's added to your sidebar, you can drag it down to where you want it to be.
These are so cute! Just added one! Thank you very much.
