Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
We're happy to provide a virtual bulletin board for our Splitcoast member gatherings. Please read the guidelines below, and if you have any questions at all, then don't hesitate to contact a moderator or email [email protected] before posting.
If your SCS get together's primary purpose is to stamp with and get to know other SCS members, then this is the place to post!
Some tips/suggestions from past Splitcoast gatherings:
Please begin your title with the USPS state code for the state in which you gathering is being held. This is a great advantage for those trying to find gatherings in their state.
Shoebox swaps are a great focus for an SCS gathering. Each person brings the supplies for a project for the other members to make.
You may charge a fee to cover room rental and refreshments.
Door prizes are fun! Have everyone bring one to cut down on expenses.
Get involved in the community by chatting in your event thread and posting challenges for event attendees.
Moderators may remove -
events where orders will be taken for products.
events where supplies, kits, or instructions are offered for sale.
Any Make and Takes should be supplied at cost and should not be the primary focus of the event.
events at which the primary function is fundraising for a charity. Any charitable component should be optional.
garage sales where organizers charge a table fee or collect a portion of sales. Any garage sale component of your event should be open to all attending members.
anything considered a business solicitation by the moderators or administrators.
If you'd like to promote an event for your business, you can find out more about advertising by emailing [email protected]. We have several options for advertising and will work with you to tailor a campaign just for you.
Northern New Jersey anyone? I'd like to try doing a shoebox swap (never done it before). Just need to know if there is anyone in the area willing to "coach" me through this and help me get it together... Blessings.

MI Stamping Night!
Our Stampclub, the Midnightstampers Stamp Club, is having a sleepover at the Walled Lake Church of Christ (where we hold club), on May 13th and 14th. We will have a demo on "Scene Stamping" by Fran (one of our members) and endless demos (shoebox swaps) through out the weekend. There is a fee of $15.00 to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and we are asking everyone to bring your favorite sundae topping for Friday night's Sundae bar. Everyone is asked to bring your own blow up mattress, blankets, pillows (and anything else you might need for sleeping at the church building). We won't have door prizes, just relaxed stamping time. If you interesting in joining us, please e-mail me privately and I'll get you the information. Hope you can join us! [email protected]
Hi I was just reading the rules and I have a scrapbooking event coming up for the house of happiness charity, we are chargeing a fee to come which includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, gift bag, raffle ticket, room hire and lucky door prizes. But the fee is $60 and is all going to the charity and I am paying for all of the stuff out of my own pocket, does this cross the line or can I post it on the site? Thanks CHristina
