Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending April 24, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS) Favorites of the Week Thread. This is where we celebrate the CAS style by linking to our favorite cards and projects from the past week's gallery uploads. Everyone is invited to participate!
Let me get us started with these fabulous cards!
giogio put her square punch to stylish and creative use on her happy birthday card
Smoatsmom used the CAS115 sketch from Maureen to make a wonderful card accented with a beautifully colored butterfly
Jennifer Styles masterfully used rich, bold colors on a gloriously white one-layer card for the OLW50 challenge
JulieHRR, the queen of CAS, made a simply stunning botanical thanks card
whoistracy's rainbow love card made me jump for joy...check out the transparent heart accent!
annie21211 combined orange and hot pink and some simple layering to set off her very simply stamped image in absolutely fun perfection
Gimmeink made a happy--and very clever--egg flower for the WT challenge this week
jandjccc spotlighted a tulip with a punched oval with wonderful results
RobinRingtailmade a soft and pretty batik egg and set it off simply on a debossed one-layer card
girlgeek101 made some beautiful sympathy cards...the hardest cards we have to make...using beautifully stamped black on white
biggan needs to teach us how she ties her perfect bows after showing them off on her Happy Easter cards (I just linked to one, but go to her gallery to see the color variations!)
PaperInBloom showed how beautiful corrugated cardboard can be on her Mother's Day card
briarthyme brought together simple elements that perfectly complement one another...and then stitched to bring the whole thing together perfectly
smriti used the Cuckoo set from Hero Arts in a simply perfect way
