This is a great chart. Thanks for sharing it. For those of you who are using the floss to crochet flowers, are you using the 6 strand floss or is there another kind? I would think it would be hard to use this kind and not separate it with the hook. I've seen tatting thread (floss?) and wondered if this would work.

Don't know if you ever got an answer but, I use the full 6 strands. I generally use a 4, 7 or 8 steel hook but, recently I have been using a 2 steel with much success.
These are the colors I have come up with. This is from the floss I have on hand, there may be a better match if you take the paper to the store and choose from there. However, this is a start and I hope others post if they have a better match.
Soft Suede: 3790 Rich Razzleberry: 327 Bermuda Bay: 992 or 959 Melon Mambo: 335 or 956 Crushed Curry: 382 or 3820 Dusty Durango: 920

Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks Deb for taking the time to match for me!! I will go dig through my colors to see if I have these.
I just made flowers to match Nichole Heady's colors of PaperTrey Ink papers and came here to see if there was such a list for SU! and am so excited to see there is! Thank you so much 2goofy for putting together the list.
Now off to see how many of these colors I have in DMC floss.

Thank you for the color matches. I'm sure that everyone appreciates the time that you put into matching the colors.
I have updated the first post to include this new in color list.
I just want to let everyone know that while I appreciate the thanks for sharing the list posts, I in no way am responsible for putting it together. I got the list from a yahoo group that I'm in and I thought it would be a wonderful thing to share. I don't want to take credit for something that I didn't do. I woud love to credit the person who did make the list, but I'm unsure as to who it was. If anyone knows, then please advise me since I would love to give the person the proper credit.
Subbing so I can find again. Thanks for all the helpful info! Perfect for me to do right now while I'm trying to stay off my feet these last few weeks of my pregnancy! :P
I found an old list, rearranged it to match the current color setup. There are 11 new colors not in the old list that are in the current setup; i.e. the 5 2010-2011 In Colors and 6 that were added to the main colors during the color renovation. Since I don't have any SU cardstock yet to compare to, I got some scraps of those colors from my Demo. I compared them to my DMC color chart and figured out what DMC colors to assign to those 11. I have one of the good DMC charts with the actual floss samples, and not just pictures of the floss colors, so what I came up with should be a very good match up. Here is the revamped list:
I neither knit nor crochet but I use embroidery floss for Spirelli string art. And, for the rare times I sew a button on a card, I'll reach for my floss.
I usually use metallic or pearlescent floss but sometimes I want colors that match my cardstock so this thread is a wonderful resource.
I haven't watched it but thought a visual would explain it best. I usually use it on punched shapes from scallop circle punches (I have a few) but many shapes are available (punches) here: Dutch Paper Craft - Spirelli I think dies such as Spellbinders nestabilities would work just as well ... you just need something to wrap the floss around that goes all around the shape.
Location: Crazyville USA, but I wouldnt have it any other way !!

It is ... and the cards I have it on seem to be the one my DH likes best (even if it's girly colors with lots of bling and sparkle) so I consider it a masculine "embellishment" (althought it really is gender neutral)
Oh, so NOW I find this thread! I gave two full boxes of DMC floss away a couple of weeks ago since I no longer cross stitch! I kept a few, but with my luck, they won't match any of these colors!

Would it be possible for you to re-save this as a.doc? I don't have the latest version of Office. Thank you.
