A huge thanks to Joan for covering the last few TLCs while I got my health in order. Im beginning to understand when people say it sucks to get old! Im slowly getting my sea legs back.
~ Thats Odd ~
Ok, this week were going to focus on odd shaped cards (anything but a A2, square, etc.). Also, as a *bonus*, Im asking that you use something on your card that you wouldnt normally see on a card. If you cant think of anything for the *bonus*, thats ok. You can also make a 3D item, as long as its not square or rectangular!
Some tips:
Try template websites or the template area in the forums here on SCS.
If you cant find a template, try searching for clip art in the shape you want and making your own template. You can do that by copying it into a word document and adjusting the size. Then print on cardstock.
Use your Nestabilities in creative ways.
Trace something that has an interesting shape (fold cardstock and line it up at the edge)
****** I know many of you like to combine challenges. You could use this challenge as a jumping off point for the Spotted Canary Spring Challenge! If you havent seen the details on this challenge, youll want to! There is a huge prize being offered to one lucky stamper ********
Welcome back, Holly. Glad you are feeling better. Joan did a bang-up job while you were gone. Thanks, Joan.
I'm in Easter card-making mode and decided to carry that theme for my card for today's challenge. I used to LOVE those diorama sugar eggs as a child...I ATE them too. It's a wonder that I have a tooth in my head after all that sugar! : )
This should be fun. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. I got my thinking cap on and see if I can get something done to post too. Thanks for the challenge.
Thanks for the Challenge Holly glad to see that you are starting to feel better !
This is my Odd Telephone Card (with it's forgotten flowers...I to am getting OLD )

It's been a while since I have tried a technique challenge, but the cards I saw posted earlier in the gallery are all so special...it inspired me to give it a try.
