This year I'm going to make the Gifts in a Jar for my friends. We all love to bake and I think it's a really cute gift idea.
Not sure if you've heard of it but basically all you do is layer ingredients you need to make cookies/brownies/any type of baked dessert in a Mason Jar and include the recipe.
I found what I think it going to be a great gift. I guess it's been around this site for awhile but it's new to me. lol
It's the name frames. You stamp each letter on to a tag or other shape of your choice, embellish and frame when you are done.
You can search in the gallery for them. I think these are nice because you could do first or last name, heck even initials would work. You can make them any size too. I did a 5x7 one for a lady's son that I swap with...it turned out really cute and who doesn't like something with their name???
I also plan to make some more of the post-it note holders on the acrylic frames. You can personalize them too.
If you go to the anything but a card gallery there are tons of ideas!! I also love to make some type of Christmas ornament each year.
I just thought of another idea I'm hoping to make this year.
It's the calendar you make on a cookie sheet. You can do it many different ways. You can use the other side of the cookie sheet to store the magnets on. You could even do different months too to make it useful year round.
If you search on-line you will find lots of examples of these too.
I found a cute idea on cats creative place for calenders that fit into the cover of your
check book. It is made by folding and refolding a decorative sheet and gluing 3 month calendar on each sections. You need a clear check book cover. Then decorate the front cover. I used Red Hat stuff on mine and it was real cute. Everybody needs a check book cover. Sugamom.
Would you be so kind as to send me the link so I can possibly do this? I already have ordered the clear checkbook covers and they sound perfect for this project.
any ideas for gifts for pet owners? I was thinking of a poo bag carrier, but have no template and am not good at designing them. any help would be greatly appreciated!
