TLC304 ~Sewing/Stitching...Faux or Real~ (12/20/10)
Hello everyone!! Are you all ready for Christmas?....OK, I know... that is a silly question!!! I won't be ready until 5:00 on Christmas Eve...LOL!!!
I have a fun and easy challenge for you today...how about a little sewing/stitching!! You can use faux or real sewing or even use stamps that have stitching on them....what ever your little heart desires!!
I always admire the cards with stitching on them but have never tried this myself. Guess this is the time to try new things. I'll get at this tomorrow. Thanks for hosting at this busy time of year, it's much appreciated.
another sleepless night, makes me thankful for early challenge posts
Thanks for another fun technique challenge! I love faux stitching...being that I don't have a sewing machine...and it added that something extra this card needed...maybe I went a little too crazy with the stitching...on the ribbon and everywhere...but I like the outcome...TFL!!!!!!!
Here's mine Joan.........great challenge to revisit. It's been a long while for me. Merry Chirstmas to all and to all a good night! Blessings to you all as we celebrate our Savior's birth.

Fun challenge, Joan! I suppose I should have dove in and used my sewing machine...I still can't bring myself to sew paper on it! Maybe I should invest in an inexpensive one for papercrafting. I used my gel pen and a marker to simulate stitiches.
Merry Christmas to you....and everyone else who celebrates.
I thought about stitching this for real, but my experience says that the adhesive I used to layer the DSP on would have gummed up the works literally on my sewing machine, so this is pen stitched!
Thankyou for not overly challenging us this week. A very simple card with just a row of running stitches around the inside frame. Here is my "In Stitches"
I love faux stitching! It's so much fun!!!!!!! Thanks for another fun challenge! Can't wait to play again next week...I'll be making a stack of these for my stash
Thanks for the stitching challenge, Ms. Joan! I was happy to see it, and actually started shortly after seeing your post .... but ... uhhhhmmmmm, this is one busy week! LOL Just getting it finished , photographed, and ready to go! LOL
I was glad for this sewing challenge...my little Janome is acting up, so I dug out my standard machine and stitched once again! MY CARD
