I want to start by wishing a very Merry Christmas to all who will be celebrating with families and friends next Friday evening and Saturday.
This is the place to share those fabulous Favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone can join in -- check my next post if you need directions. A recent gallery trend has been the use of blue for Christmas cards, especially when combined with white. In fact, I saved enough of them for a predominately blue list this week.
I hope you'll take a break from all that gift wrapping to show us what you added to your Favorites. Post your links and make someone's day.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week.
If you are new to the FAVORITES threads, please read.
Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is welcome to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.
--- Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the Quote button.
Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had terrific cooperation on this request. Thanks!
Optional: Pay It Forward. When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites. This idea started with a suggestion from APandi, seconded by ChaosMom.
--- Was your card mentioned in this thread? Here's how to find it.
Let's say that you find out your card has been mentioned in this thread, but by the time you check it, there are dozens of links. Here's how to find yours:
1. At the top of the screen, click the drop-down box for Search this Thread.
2. Type in your screen name and click the Go button. Since most of the links include screen names, yours will probably show up in the search results.
--- Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
Make sure all the cards that you want to link are already in your SCS Gallery Favorites.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button. In the Reply to Thread box, type what you want to say.
2. Open a second browser tab and load your SCS Gallery Favorites to display the thumbnails.
3. Right-click on a thumbnail and select Copy Shortcut (or Copy Link Location).
4. Go to the first tab again. Right-click and select Paste. Hit the Enter key twice to separate each link.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as you need for your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that all your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Notes: For browsers without tabs, you can open separate windows. On a Mac, use Ctrl+click rather than right-click.
When you copy and paste links as explained above, the screen name is automatically part of the link. If you would rather add links a different way, please include the exact screen name so that the person can find it by searching this thread.

Hi, Priyanka -- The directions for linking are in Reply #2 (above). It can be confusing the first few times you try it, and we don't mind experimenting here.
Since you included all of the screen names plus the titles of the cards, I was able to find them. Here are the links so that no one misses them...

Thanks so much to Patsmethers for the wonderful comment about my card. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! This is quite an honor coming from Pat, whose "I heard the bells at Christmas" card and her work, in general, are such an inspiration to me.
May all of you have a blessed Christmas and very prosperous (for more stamps, ink and paper, of course!) New Year!

Pat Smethers I am honored to have you mention my Shadows card. Your comments on my card nearly brought me to my tears as I so respect your opinion. You are such a talented stamper yourself. I must admit this painting brought me much joy and I was hoping someone else would like it as well. You have made my week! Hugs to you and Happy Holidays to all! I am hoping to go through the gallery and will definitely be checking out these fabulous cards listed. I have been having medical issues and I have not been able to be on here as often as I would like to!
Linda (labullard), thank you so much for favoriting my QFTD40 (really need to work on titles)! You have made this dreary, cold Sunday so much better. I am grinning all over myself!
Judi thank you so much for mentioning my Midnight Christmas card. That sponging took me forever but I actually liked it in the end. Thanks again! Merry Christmas!
Sincere thanks to APandi for adding my card to your favorites this week. I am deeply touched and honored!!
Paying it forward to some of my favorites this week:
Thanks for the mention, Terri!! I think this is one of my favorites from this year too. Appreciate the mention. Have a blessed Christmas
