Hi All...just wondering what your preferences are for cleaning your stamps off with after using the sticky "Versamark" ink. Is it okay to use your regular stamping cleaner ...other than probably the STAZON cleaner which may be NOT ? okay...don't have a clue. THANKS!!
I just use my regular method. I use SU cleaner. I've never had a problem.

I use the Stazon stamp cleaner for any dye inks or VersaMark ink. You need a stronger cleaner for those kinds of inks over just the pigment or chalk inks.
Simple Green and a toothbrush. Versamark gets trapped in the "grooves" and it also leaves a film on the rubber if you don't get it completely off. After a while it gets really gunky!

Yea I know exactly what you mean by a FILM look on it..that's exactly the correct word!! Stamp was brand new, but ACRYLIC...and I forgot to mention that in my question...sorry folks!! Don't know if that makes a difference either.
I use whatever I have at hand that I'm currently using to clean my stamps. Most of the time its just baby wipes. If I remember, I get out my stamp cleaner. Either way it seems to work well for me after using VersaMark.
I just use water and toothbrush. Someone was telling me that water will dry the rubber over time. I am not expecting my rubber stamps to last me forever. If old ones don't go how am I going to get new ones?
