Default Where oh where can I buy acetate?

I went to Joann's & M's no luck I could not beleive it. SU sells it but it seems costly for the 2 sheets you get. I am using them to make about 50 med sized gift boxes. Anyone out there know where I can get some?

Thanks

I got mine at Staples, I think that would be your Office Depot or Office Maxx. There are different types of the transparancies.

My Michael's sells packs of 8 1/2 x 11 Graphix acetate. I think it's $9.99 for 25 sheets and I always use my coupon for it. It's in the aisle with paper pads and cardstock. I'm not sure about your Michael's but at mine, if you ask the employees they don't know what it is or where it is, so you have to just know where to look.

Accucut carries it and if you get on their mailing list, they always have 25% off plus free shipping.

I bought mine from FilmSource. It is called Clear Cover.
I sent an email to them and told them what I wanted to do with it. A Kelly Bunder replied and was great. I thought I needed transparencies, but she explained the only reason I would need to buy transparencies is if I wanted to print on them with a printer. Transparencies cost more. She even sent me 3 samples to see which weight I needed.
I bought 7 mil.
100 sheets is about $20 plus shipping

when you say cardstock & paperpads isle, are you reffering to where they sell art supplies or dsp? I asked an employee there she was clueless. I think she was just a seasonal stocker.

I get Overhead Projector Sheets, or Inkjet Transparencies from Staples. These are great for stamping on, and for the 'Caught in Crystal' technique the one with the Klear floor polish & Tissue.

Try Kelly Paper. I buy their report cover acetate stock; it comes in various weights/thickness and sizes and for less than any where else I have found (if you need a large amount).
