Default Still need a Little HELP with my Demo Kit???????

Ok everyone I have chosen almost everything, but still need a little help though!! Here is a list of what I have chosen so far:
_____________ $11.95
Bold Basics $24.95
Tags & More $19.95
All Year Cheer II $29.95
Perfect Party $24.95
Bloomin Wheel $ 5.95
Everday Flexible Phrases $ FREE

_________________ Ink Cartridge

Stamp Pads: Basic Brown, Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum

The blanks are what I need to still fill in!!

I have narrowed it down to Simple Wishes, Cute Critters, or Spring Fling for $11.95 Stamp set. Close To Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Mellow Moss, or Sage Shadow Ink Cartridge to go with the Bloomin Wheel.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME CHOOSE!!!!

I had a party and I got Love Without End, In Full Bloom, and the Earth Element Markers for FREE!!!! I bought so much the past 3 months I mine as well become a demo and get a discount and more FREE stuff!!!! Plus I'm thinking about giving the business end of it a whirl!! Still thinking though.

Thank you in advance for your help. I will talk to all of you soon.

Happy Holidays,
Michelle

You know what I do when I can't choose between a set......? I go to the gallery and check the samples out. I usually see something that I just have to have and thats the one that wins.

I have Simple Wishes and never use it. But that is because I keep getting sample ideas from SCS and haven't had time to use it. I wanted to get it because it appears to be very versatile with the different stamps.

Personally, I use mellow moss alot. I don't have Basic Brown yet.

Default hope I can help you narrow the choices

Congrats on almost becoming a demo! You won't regret it. I wish I had joined years sooner than I did. I have learned so much. Based on what you already have and what you are ordering I would vote for Spring Fling, cause the other two are closer to the Tags and More set, line stamp design. And for the cartridge I would vote Mellow Moss, it is very practical! Though Close to Cocoa would work too.

Hope this helps you out!

Not to be a thread stealer, but, I found I use Tags and More more than any other set I own. There are soooooo many cute cards in the gallery. I have made a TON of Christmas/Winter cards with the cute snowman in the set.

As for the stamp set, I think I would go for a background stamp. I use my a lot and have sold a lot. Simple Wishes is like Tags & More. Cute Critters was a hostess set about 3 yrs ago so it *might* retire. Sping Fling may require a lot of coloring with markers on the stamp itself. Some customers may not like that.

Mellow Moss definitely for the ink cartridge. It seems like you like the EE's and SS's. I think it will go well with the wheel.

My biggest advice to my recruits when ordering is don't order anything you won't use in your own projects/scrapbooks.

how about close to nature? There are lots of gallery ideas, and use it lots with glossy cardstock and crayon resist.

Just a thought......
I noticed that your markers (EE) are darkers than some of your pads (like Barely B., & Mellow, Moss, Pale Plum). Now I do see that you have the Basic Brown pad. Just remember when you are using markers to color-in images that if the markers are darkers than the stamp pad you're using for the image, than you're hardly going to be able to see all the details of the stamped image. If you were ordering those colors with the thoughts of using for two-step stamping, then just ignore what I wrote! I just try to mention that to my customers when I see them ordering Soft Subtle Pads & then Bold Bright markers.

Also, I think I'm reading your post correctly that you would already have Itty-Bitty Bk? That's an excellent $11.95 set to demo different background looks with. Do you have any of the "Handmade with Love" sets on page 190. Customers like to purchase those when they see you using them to "Hallmark" the back of your cards.

It is hard to make decisions when you are trying to think about not only what you will like, but what your customer will like to see.
Wendy.

Also let me say this. It might help you ladies help me. I have a very large family and some friends and they love to Scrapbook. They are not too much on the card thing. They also all have little girls. I'm the only one with a boy. I thought this would help you help me to pick this set also. Oh well gotta go to my shop and sand and stain some furniture. Then take son to parade tonight. I will talk to you ladies later tonight when I get home.

Thanks,
Michelle

Do you have any of the "Handmade with Love" sets on page 190. Customers like to purchase those when they see you using them to "Hallmark" the back of your cards. Yes I have one of these sets on order to for my craft show stuff!!!!

I told you I have alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!

I thank you for you reply. I hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

Ok I think I've got it by George!!!! I took a little bit of Angie, Amy, & Philippa's advice and rolled it all together and came up with Close To Nature. I checked the gallery and out of all of the $11.95 sets Close To Nature & Let's Party had the most pics. Let's Party is alot like Perfect Party. So what's left? Close To Nature. Thank all of you for your replies and Merry Christmas.

Happy Stampin,
Michelle
