F4A36...Rummage and Scavenging Practice...10/29/10
In a few days, a lot of us will be scavenging through candy bags looking for some tasty morsel after our little goblins are fast asleep. So, I thought Id give you some practice rummaging and scavenging! Quietly and quickly, rummage through those scraps of pretty papers that you hoardand paper piece some stamped images! (I know you have some piles tucked away for those just in case I need it crafting situations!) Trust me, its better for your waistline and hips!

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Dawn, this was a good one! I copied you using this design for the cancer card drive as well as for your Free for All challenge. The hair, flower and skirt are all paper pieced. Thanks.
Oh, this is good!!! I've been trying so hard recently to head to my box of scraps instead of cutting into a new sheet of paper. I'll be looking forward to this after work. I think I can combine it with one of the HYCCT challenges - I am trying to have 36 cards to send off as a nice round number, so I'm making extra cards for some of the challenges.
Fun challenge, Dawn! Thanks!! You made me dig into those "treasures" that I hoard and the scraps that just keep piling up! This Thanksgiving card will go back to the friend who made the special paper.
Well, I was up early this AM, (a rarity for me) and decided to try a challenge before going in to work to pack chocolates. (I know, tough life!) I like paper piecing, but usually go for something simpler. Here's mine:
I think I probably can make the ENTIRE card from pieces already laying around! Hope to find time to join in later today. Time to get the home-school rolling!
Paper-piecing!!! Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
And for those who haven't explored the fun world of paper-piecing, I sure hope this is the invitation/inspiration for a few more "will-be" fans to discover the fun!

Waah, I thought I'd seen some punched cards in the gallery, but now I come back to read the challenge again, I see it's pieced stamped images. Which is what I was going to do, only it didn't happen.
I'll be back tomorrow, in that case!
Such a fun challenge, I may do another one! I can't believe all the stamped images and scraps I have! THe frame was one I should have thrown away but didn't, so used it today! I colored the image a while back with Copics, and am still learning. I cut off the booboos today and used it! The little sentiment panel was already textured, so I cut it out and used it. Everything was scraps. Don't even know what color the base is for sure, but used it!
Thank you for your challenge, and for getting me into action again, after not doing any of these challenges for a couple of months.
Here is mine.
